Shoulder charge TAKES SKILL to do well with because it is EASY to counter.
You people are too busy crying on these forums and aren't playing to game and figuring out how to counter it.
I main a Titan by the way and I shoulder charge regularly. I find myself a lot of the time that people flat out shotgun me which I can't help or they adapt to my play style and don't get close.
Shoulder charge doesn't need a nerf, in fact, nearly everything in this game didn't need a nerf, people just decided to cry about it on the forums rather than figure out a counter for it

Edit 2: You guys don't understand that it takes skill because it's hard to use against players with thumbs. Most of you being on the receiving end of a shoulder charge... Someone either got lucky on you or you couldn't counter them

It's only a matter of time. I wonder what people here will cry about after shoulder charge gets nerfed? Warlock melee range maybe

You know what doesn't help? That one dude who posted a video of himself shoulder charging 20 people in a single match. He made it look easy but I know that takes great skill. After that video I noticed the "nerf wagon" got bigger and louder. You can thank him for that.

Nerfs should almost never happen in a game like this. That being said shoulder charge is going to get nerfed, it's the unpopular thing of this month. I'm guessing after the shoulder charge nerf the losers will revert back to some gun they want nerfed.

It's going to happen. I run Unstoppable, but it's going to happen. The masses crying "nerf" are simply too plentiful and seek to push Titans even further down the ladder.

2 RepliesTakes skill? Step 1: Run Step 2: melee Step 3: Profit Backstab from the front took more skill. You're squisher, it takes your melee and there's less range. So, does Backstabbing from the front also take skill? If not, shoulder charge definitely doesn't.

2 RepliesI personally don't think it's op. SC punishes players who don't pay attention to their radar and let a Titan get that close before mowing them down. The range to which a SC would kill is the almost equivalent to the high impact shotguns out in the wild. For me, shoulder charge is more of a tool for mobility as it allows me to change the direction my Titan is going on a flash, sometimes avoiding death. When I get shoulder charged, I don't really complain because I gave them the opportunity to kill me. Could someone else explain to me how it's OP despite being a OHK at optimal shot gun range?

The ability to simply stop sprinting then sprint again for a 1 hit melee or a frontal shield that can sponge 300+ damage is a little overboard. With that said no don't nerf it into the ground but give them both the shadestep treatment and put an internal cool down on both....

16 RepliesIt's an easy 1 hit ko (unless someone has max armor) for little kids with no skill. I main a striker titan and refuse to use shoulder charge or juggernaut. They're crutch abilities and shouldn't be in the game.

4 RepliesThis is an opinion from a hunter main. Shoulder charge is PERFECT where it is! The only thing I could say would balance it is if shoulder charge required a charged melee. Sprinting charged your melee x15% faster. And the ability to shoulder charge straight into the air should be removed. If a warlock or hunter jumps over it then they should be safe. Just a hunters opinion 😉
