"Hell, it's good all the time! Ain't nobody comin' to disturb us no more!"
He then turns to Light.
"Hey, has he ever told you who I was back when I was still young?"
"No... not really..."
Kaebius then turns to Aaron with an angered look.
"Son? How the hell could you not?!"
He turns back to her.
"I was the Lone Pacificator."
Light takes in the information, then her eyes light up.
"No.... No. Way. [i][b]THE[/b][/i] Lone Pacificator?! The most badass comic book hero ever?!"
"Well, not just in the comics... some of the stories they talk about are exaggerated, but..."
He smirks.
"... it's all true."
At this point, Light was basically geeking out.
"Aaron!!! How could you not tell me your dad is the Lone Pacificator!!!!?!?!?!"

"I didn't know you read those comics!" Aaron says with a laugh. "I would have if I had known you read them!"

"It's so cool! Mr. Prefect, you [u][b]HAVE[/b][/u] to sign my copies! Please Please Pleaaaaase!!!" "Alright, alright!" He chuckles. "Don't go too crazy, you'll cause the lights to pop a breaker." Eeeeeeh dad joke. "I'll sign 'em, cutie. It would be my pleasure." She hugged him tightly. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!"

Aaron mentally sighed in relief at least she loved his dad. It was hard not to. He was surprised that Light disliked his mother though.. "Well it's nice to see you get along with Light dad... Can't say the same with mom..."

"Really? Well, why not?" He looks at the Girl. "Well... Mr. Prefect, what's your opinion on body alteration? Like, Cybernetics or genetics?" "Alteration? Ain't that a long word... well... I-I suppose that if it's a minor little thing, like, say, you're terrible at math, so you get somthin' that makes you better, I guess that's okay... but changin' your whole body? Cheatin' with Age? That ain't right." Light liked his answer. "Thank you. I share your opinion." "Wuh... Really? Cause, I mean, your whole body's covered in them robotics..." "Yeah... but this wasn't my choice... I was forced into it when I was a child." "Oh, now I understand. I stopped plenty of child abuse back in my day, I'm sure you read some of 'em comic things." She smiles brightly, nodding. "I have. Every single issue."

Samantha could hear their conversation from the living room with her better hearing mutation... And she wish she hadn't. She was slightly hurt at Kaebiuss words considering she had done almost all of those. Aaron was just happy they were getting along. Seconds later Sam comes out of the kitchen. "Dinner is ready!" She says. Aaron stands, oh boy he was hungry.

She knew very well her husband's stance on the matter. And he was a hard man to cross. "Let's get ourselves some good eatin' kiddos!" Kaebius gets up from the couch, as did Light.

Aaron nods and takes Lights hand as they walk to the dining room. The table was set and all the food was there. Say what you would about Samantha, she was a god in the kitchen. Mashed potatoes, the steaks on the table, a freshly baked loaf of bread with butter on the side, and pan fried asparagus lightly coated in salt for flavor. "Mom, this looks amazing, you really outdid yourself." She smiles. "Well there's also cake for desert so don't fill up!" Aaron first seats Light then he seats himself.

"Thank you, Mrs. Prefect. This looks delicious." Light looks at the food with eagerness. "Do you have drinks that are rich in electrolytes? Like sports drinks, or energy drinks?"

Samantha nods. "Yes we do, energy drink... I'll be right back with some." She smiles and leaves to get some. Aaron looks at it all, his mouth watering. "God I'm so hungry.."

"Well then, eat up!" His father says. "Don't starve yourself on our account, boy."

He looks at Light, then begins eating. The steak was juicy and flavorful, the mashed potatoes where creamy and thick, God he had missed his moms cooking. Samantha returns with the energy drink, placing it in front of Light. She then sits down and begins eating. "Mom. This is amazing. I have [i]so[/i] missed your food." She laughs. "Well I haven't cooked like this in a long time." She looks at Light. "How do you like everything?"

Light was lightly eating her food, taking her time. "It's very good. You are a good cook, Mrs. Prefect." She sips her energy drink.

"Thank you. The more you come over the more you can expect food like that." She says with a laugh. She eats herself.

[spoiler]damn cannibalistic[/spoiler] She eats her steak quietly.

[spoiler]Yeah I thought about that XD[/spoiler] Eventually Aaron finishes his food, he wasn't completely full, so he had room for what he knew was his mothers delicious cake. "Damn dad you get food like that every week?"

"Yeah, that's what I get for being married!" He chuckles. "It's a good deal."

Sam laughs. "And he gives me the most of the stuff to make the food, so thank your dad as well." She says with a smile at Kaebius, her eyes twinkling.

Light smiles, finishing her meal. "Thank you. The food was delicious."

"Alright well if you're not to full I'll go get the cake!" She gets up, leaving.

"Well then... dessert it is..."

Samantha returns with slices of cake on three plates, she sets them down in front of all of them. It looked delicious. White frosting on white cake with some chocolate filling in the center. "There you go." She grabs her own plate and sits, and begins eating as does Aaron

[spoiler]that was confusing.[/spoiler] "Perfect as always, sweetheart." Kaebius smiles, as does Light. "It's very good, Mrs. Prefect."

She nods, knowing Aaron loves it as he just eats. Eventually he finishes as everyone else does, leaning back in his chair. "God that was good. Thank you mom and dad for having us today." He says with a smile.
