1 ReplyHey man, I haven't raided in like 8 months, but one of my buddies who has never done it has been hounding me to help him through it, so I might do one sometime in the near future. No mic isn't a problem, one of my best friends is deaf and I've never done a raid without him, so I'm used to not being able to communicate at all with a member of my fire team. I can't promise that I'll be doing any raiding anytime soon, but, as I said, my buddy is pretty set on doing one, so there's a chance I might. Feel free to add me and I'll add you back when I get on again and I'll shoot you a message if I'm about to raid and I see you're online. I see you've got a couple people willing to take you, so you probably don't need my "well, I may be raiding, I may not be" offer, but it's on the table :) Hope you get a couple good runs in!!!

4 RepliesI'm from the uk and do my raids after midnight most weeks, I was going to add you but the part at the end about no mic and even when you do you won't speak has put me off I'm afraid, too many times lately I've been in teams like this and it just makes things more frustrating than they need to be. You don't have to speak constantly but if I ask somebody a question regarding the activity were doing I like a quick response not a message 2 minutes later because they can't/won't speak over a mic. Sorry to sound harsh but most people will feel the same dude 😔

3 RepliesYeah, what you said is good. However, a little advice, be sure to not stay completely silent. Silence is good, but make sure you call out when and what you need to. Also, few wipes with a new player to Kings Fall is expected, but if they start getting salty, just back out and find another group. I know there are plenty of groups on Xbox that will show you the ropes and be patient and make sure you have got the mechanics of each fight down. Also, if there is lag on Oryx, it doesn't matter who is redbar. Lag has been horrible for PS users the last month on Oryx. That is the only encounter you will blatantly see terrible lag, regardless of people's connection. The only way to try to correct it is going to orbit, or going to the tower and coming back in. Other than that, have fun, enjoy it, and you may wind up finding a group you can run with.
