That answers whether or not im getting it. This douche bag convinces retards that reducing weapon choice would increase variety... Yup cause making new weapons that can roll with rng any element wouldn't have increased variety over 300%. Math bitches. Just call it the "Luke Smith" game and to hell with destiny. Whatever that moron says goes no matter the flawed logic behind it.

At least I know what games not to buy in 2017

2 RepliesEdited by hiltonkush: 5/26/2016 1:44:35 PMFirst of all, they started development of destiny 2 shortly after the release of destiny. Second, they left a team in charge of the original destiny (some sources say only 6 people). Third, luke smith isn't touching destiny 2 besides throwing ideas at them. And lastly, destiny 2 is going to be 10000000 times worse than destiny, and that's -blam!-ing hard to do when the worst game on the market is in fact destiny. I wouldn't buy another bungie product if they paid me, I think most people feel that way. I don't care who's in charge of production, all of their best people left the company, what makes you think a sequel to the worst game ever will be good in the slightest?

1 ReplyIs that who was lead on this first destiny?

36 RepliesLuke Smith is in charge of Destiny 2? Excellent. I look forward to better designed open world patrols with jump puzzles and secrets tucked away in evil spots. I look forward to several raids with complex mechanics that involve all players and not just 1 guy with a sword. I look forward to more promotional interviews which cause mass flooding from tears. I look forward to the most involved Raid platforming section to date. I look forward to even better balance than we have now. Having that hilarious troll in charge is the best decision that they could make.

Careful, say anything bad about Luke Smith and you get banned.
-
Worst decision ever.
-
2 RepliesPretty sure he did VOG. That raid was amazing. I would rather wait and see what the raid actually turns out to be rather than complain before hand.
-
If D2 is ever made, Bungie is going downhill real quick
-
4 RepliesWho's Luke Smith?
-
3 RepliesSooooooo, does anyone have a guess as to why Deej or Cozmo never give input on a topic like this?

Edited by SpakulatorX: 5/25/2016 2:06:48 AM*throws money at the screen* *Luke Smith Appears* Spak: Where do I sign? Luke: Spak, you've sold us the same soul like 3 times Spak: Dude, I'm good for it, make the game already. *Luke picks up money and disapears*

11 Repliesbefore TTK i only used my fatebringer , now i use loads of different guns. So yeah i think he got it right. That was not the problem . The problem was leaving everything we grinded for behind and when they took my shotguns and replaced the perks i rolled on them with stupid crap. NOW THAT WAS AN ISSUE. No burn on primaries? Who gives a sh+t?

3 RepliesYep. luke smith being in charge is gonna be awesome! NOT Let me remind people. "Hamilton: Are you guys considering how to make the Vault of Glass continue to be relevant? And are you thinking about Crota’s End—few people do Crota’s End now because the guns aren’t that great, you can ascend a VoG gun and make it just as good, so there’s no good motivation there. Are you gonna figure out a way to address that next year? Smith: The thing that—it’s like breaking into jail, in a bunch of ways. If we continue to make all the content super-relevant in the moment to all players, what we’ve done is created a wide swath of stuff for you to do, but we’ve also now potentially psychologically encumbered players so they feel paralyzed" So expect one raid in destiny two. maybe a few little things. all of year one and year two go bye bye.
-
If its like year 1 I'm buying. If its anything like Dark Below forget about it.
-
Fun fact: Luke Smith already intergrated himself into Destiny. He's an Awoken holding a tablet in the Tower.
-
I can guarantee that I will not be "throwing money at the screen". Luke Smith is a pretentious douche and it finally seemed like Bungie had put a leash on the PR killer named Luke Smith. I also assumed they learned from their mistake of eradicating 2/3 of the content..... I guess they will never learn, hence why I will not be "throwing money at the screen" Bungie.
-
Whilst he comes across as an a$$hole maybe he's good at his job. Plus throwing money at the screen has been kinda fun
-
1 ReplyLuke Smith is the Satanists and enjoys making the players hate him by ruining the game whoever's in charge made a horrible decision
-
I won't be purchasing it, whether it turns out to be good or not, with Luke Smith at the helm. I can't stand that arrogant SOB.
-
2 RepliesLuke Smith is the Steve Jobs of Bungie. Take that as you will.
-
i thought dogma was a good movie. also jay and silent bob is cool
-
1 ReplyAs long as the weapons in Destiny 2 aren't the weak pieces of shit we have right now, I'll buy it, I actually like the guy

Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 5/24/2016 9:48:36 PMI don't know about you but most pvp weapon loadout I've seen are locked on DOP, eyesaluna, and Midas now. It's just going through cycle. Most well find a gun that dominates. It gets nerf. We all find another gun that dominates again and most well switch to it and then a nerf. Happened basically every time. I thought burn on weapon was awesome, it allowed me to burn shields and finish them off with a special or heavy (which I thought what the burns were intended for). I barely switch weapons for crucible cause well why would I? On the occasion I pull a necrochasm and laugh at the people demise but mine is lock on a red spectre and queensbow. We shall see how Destiny 2 goes for there shall be no pre-order this time. I'll wait to see if a game with little content once more appears.

Edited by echoblammo: 5/24/2016 9:22:56 PMWell actually... I wasn't TOO disappointed by TTK, so... idk.

Edited by Bagi: 5/24/2016 9:06:06 PMI thought I had all of the negativity on the forums muted. You proved me wrong.
