Can we please have a separate adult community?
Edit:please bump this up and like. This is a pretty serious issue and needs to be addressed. Thank you.
Edit:seems the younger crowd doesn't like this idea. Why do you want to hang out with us old fuks anyways? We are old!!!
Git off my lawn!!!
Today's edit:We have had some awesome chatter. I want to thank force58 for adding the section where people post their age. I'm glad to see many others like myself and hope to game with all of you one day. Keep up the grinding and never get old people!!!
Edit:anyone here ever play Police quest, Space quest, Kings quest?
Sign if you know of the game"I have no mouth but I must scream"

What age should be the cutoff? I say at least 25, if not 30.

10 RepliesIf you want you whine about teens playing a game, then go to call of duty. It's got ten year olds playing it. Seriously though, I respect the fact that you find time in your day to play something you enjoy, but this shouldn't be a problem.
-
Can I ask why you want this to be a thing? Are your hearing aids to high so there squeaky voice hurts more than it should. But seriously if its a problem just post for adults only.

Main reason I stay off the b.net forums. Usually just chat with my clan, Dads of destiny, using Band or Discord. Much easier to use and I have grown tired of the B8/"satire" posts.
32 btw
1 ReplyPlease. Shitters like me in the mid-twenties crowd are just as bad. You'll need something better than an age restriction to keep the riff-raff out.

5 RepliesI mean, it's hard to break apart a community. It might sound like a miracle if it's possible but in honesty it's not realistic. It also sounds a bit ignorant if bungie were to do something like this all because of its "younger" fanbase. It would not only put a bad name on our community as a whole but also on bungie, for splitting up the community because of childish it is. Listen to that for a second and imagine the reaction of other people who DON'T play destiny. It would sound pretty stupid imo On top of that, remember age is not always a great indication of maturity. You'd be surprise how many grown ass men's I've ran into who has the maturity of a 5 year old. Back many months ago I played with a kid who was like 12 year old who was actually pretty chill. He was for the "most" part, pretty cool to play with. So from personal experiences, I would say age is probably not a great representation. Maybe some sort of VIP type of name, but I wouldn't go as far as strictly separating the community

What's with this recent war of teens vs adults. Or more immature teens vs immature adults.

7 RepliesThe sad thing is you "adults" should be setting a better example for the younger generation. All you're doing is excluding specific types of people despite that they could possess better wisdom than you (of course not all of them).

11 RepliesEdited by CitrusTheNile: 5/3/2016 2:11:59 PMThe idea of an Adult community is a joke. There is polar opposite post floating around right now complaining about how teens smoke weed and only talk about the chicks/dudes they bang. Having a job and being over 18 years old does not make someone an "adult." There are many adults who exhibit "non-adult" behaviors. So how exactly would these "adults" enter into this community? Would they only need to tell there age? What job they currently have? How much alcohol they can consume in one sitting? Etc. No matter how much these "adults" tell themselves that they are an "adult," many "adults" in the Destiny community fit the T for Teen rating for the game.

1 ReplyAs a 17 year old whose friends list and clan members consists mostly of adults (24-53), I don't think I can support this idea unless I'm allowed to come too.
intense pouting
1 ReplyHey lYlasterBlazor1, I didn't mean to blow up your post with asking the question about everybodies ages, but it has been interesting to see that most of the ones that have replied could be categorized as "adults". I know some probably stretched the truth, but still. And yes, I've played Police Quest and Kings Quest in the good ole days.
