Here's my story. When I first came on Destiny, I have been traumatized by the sensitivity (the shooter I played the most before Destiny was CoD; at max sensitivity). So far, everyone is like ''How does that even relate to a sniper nerf''. Read 6 more lines and you'll undersand.
Best snipers in Destiny play with low sensitivity (most likely 4-6 sensitivity). Altough, it is much easier to rush/shotgun with higher sensitivity (I run 10 and it still feels slow). What if destiny 2 max sensitivity was 20 instead of 10?
It would make CQCweapons/sniper combos much less efficient since mid-range/CQC combos would have a better advantage at close range because of the sensitivity. I believe this would be a good beginning for special weapons balance.
TL;DR Highering max sensitivity would make CQC/snipers combos harder to use compared to setups with mid-range/close range weapons; therefore applying a nerf to snipers. If you're curious, read more.

2 RepliesSensitivity isn't a weapon thing, it's a player thing. You, for instance, play snipers better with low sensitivity and shotguns better at high. I don't change my sensitivity. Hell, I can't even remember what I set it to; maybe 5? All I know is that too high screws with my precision, but too low makes me feel... slow. My point is, every player has a different sensitivity they play best at and they almost never change it.

That wouldn't change anything to be honest, the best thing they can do is buff primaries, buff Shotguns, and bring snipers back to how they were. This will bring a much better meta.

3 RepliesSo people would have to use 20 sensitivity? Most people just use default stability at 6, and what's the point of forcing everyone at 20 if most people don't like it.

Edited by Enderium: 5/3/2016 10:07:55 PMThat wouldn't do anything. People play what they're comfortable at, and forcing them to increase their sensitivity to counter a weapon is bogus. Edit: Bacon stips, as it is neither good or bad; it's stupid.

I have a better solution, when ever u drag scope or strafe while hard aiming, that tiny little circle used to line up the headshot, that little circle should expand in diameter, making the accuracy much less If you could, please edit it into your thread and you're welcome to give me credit for it

Umm, no. Lol I used to play COD a ton just like you and I play and snipe on a 10 no matter what due to this and there's a lot of others that do so it wouldn't effect anything.

12 RepliesLol i run 10 sensativity as a sniper and honestly for me it still feels slow.... i think bungie needs to look at flinch mechanics and fix the crappy connections

1 ReplyEdited by xFajitas: 5/3/2016 2:43:51 AMI just want higher sensitivity so I can 180° someone behind me faster with my sniper. Honestly destiny's aim is one of the slowest I've come across

Wow, so much bacon
-
Sensitivity is ok for the most part :P
-
5 RepliesI feel like snipers would quickly adjust to these changes

1 ReplyEven on snipers I'm used to ridiculous sensitivity (see Halo CE Anniversary), and 10 usually suits me but it's still a bit slow to turn.
