I think this game would be 100X better if it were rated M. I know this will not happen because of financial reasons, but hear me out
1) ads would look twice as menacing/ terrifying
2) potentially give PvE a Gears of War feel when killing ads ... meaning more gore (if desired)
3) M rating means more potential meat to the story
4) Less whiney crucibabies constantly crying for nerfs
5) :LESS WHINEY CRUCIBABIES CRYING FOR UNECCESARY NERFS (seriously I'm getting tired of it)
6) characters would be 1000X funnier with adult dialogue
7) give bosses a kill function if you approach with low health (similar to dead space)
8) assassination function in crucible (similar to halo assassinations)
I could go into a lot of detail but I really think this game would have some serious improvements if it were rated M and a lot less kids who, in my opinion, have ruined this game with constant complaints about subclasses and weapons

4 Replies*looks at CoD community* *laughs*
-
2 RepliesI don't even mind the kids in this game. I can't stand the people my age(mid 20s) who act like little whiny bitches.
-
This is the dumbest, most biased poll I've ever seen. Do you think most middle schoolers buy their own games? Have you ever played cod??
-
honestly? probably wouldn't make a difference
-
Uncharted is rated T and it has an amazing story. (I do realize they are different types of games.)

5 RepliesEdited by roopzilla769OO: 4/8/2016 7:06:19 PM2 things. Half the complainers are adults, and that other half of kids parents won't care. But yeah I agree. The story could be a bit darker, and I would loving blowing a cabals head off.
-
You have to realize that having the m rating wont do much, especially since many people are already invested in the game so they will buy the sequel. Look and gta, cod, halo. Actually wait isnt halo t now lol? But anyway cod and gta are very popular among the youngings.

6 RepliesEdited by XxfishcatcherxX: 4/8/2016 3:36:39 AMBro M does like nothing. When I was 11 I had cod. 13 I had GTA. Do you not see the common trend? Tons of parents don't really care. Why should they? Why is it bratty to have an M game. Everyone at my school was playing it then. At the end of your childhood. You realize your gonna see it all sometime. One does not become mature at 18. They can handle the content of an FPS and probably 10. However, I do agree with you about these stupid shitty nerfs.
-
1 ReplyKids would still get it even if it's rated M
-
I'm in middle school and I don't complain about pvp and I suck
-
2 RepliesThat didn't stop the 5 year olds from playing Call of Duty. An M rating wouldn't change much, you can make great stories without having to result to pure gore and adult dialogue. While it may add to the game, if Cayde started swearing, it wouldn't make much if a difference.
-
2 RepliesUm, have you never played any other game? GTA is NOTHING but squeekers, and its violent, nudity filled as fuk... rated M wont do anything... although wish it would ha
-
4 RepliesWell i am a middle schooler and its hard enough to find a team without being kicked.
-
If you think slapping an M on a game is going to stop kids from coming you have comin besides I don't see tha adult community much better
-
The M rating will not prevent kids from playing the game, however, the game can be designed to have a scarier feel and have more complex content to shut out anyone 12 and under.
-
1 ReplyWould an M rating really fix that?
-
Just because a game has gore, language, etc in it doesn't mean it's automatically a better game.
-
Where's the don't care option?
-
Kids would still buy it anyway
-
Lol idiot have u not seen call of duty it's rated M and there's kids EVERYWHERE. Same with halo, especially gta when that's the most inappropriate game for kids.
-
1 ReplyRating does nothing to stop retarded parents buying their entitled shithead kids whatever they want.
-
Really wouldn't matter
-
First your wrong the person who posted this first of all less people would probably not buy it and it's popularity would, decrease second of all destiny is fun the way it is and we should thank bungie for even making this game and third of all the game would lose its style.
-
I have never paid any attention to the ratings.
-
I like destiny's style the way it is now
-
Making destiny 2 rated M isn't gonna make a difference dude, if it did, then we wouldn't have squeakers in call of duty
