Pulse Rifle Meta was the best Meta
This was the height of the destiny crucible to me personably. You had bad juju, red death, hopscotch pilgrim (the best of them all with the right roll and the most rare), spare change, and a few I may be leaving out. Mida multitool still recked and it was OK to use something else than a sniper rifle as a secondary. Some may hate but I personably loved this meta and some may agree, I just hat how I haven't played in 3 months and all I see in iron banner is Mida, Mida, TLW, Mida, Mida, 1000ys, Mida, TLW. We all want a meta that has more than two or three guns running the show

Edit 2: We're trending! Please destiny bring balance back to crucible! Buff auto rifles and pulse rifles just enough to add verity.
Edit 3: Seems the common thought is that HoW meta was the best (I agree 100%), yet knowing Bungie by now they'll screw it up again lol
Edit 4: Well with news of the new update, as a preview, I think it'll be Suros Regime and Fusions which I'll f**k with cuz that was the first couple months of vanilla destiny. Wish they would bring back the Hopscotch Pilgrim but I'll take Spare Change if I didn't delete the yr 2 versions I got...FML

It is not right. There are other scout rifles with better range/damages and can't compete with mida. I put three bullets in a hunter head using a scout riffle with better range/ damages than Mida, but got killed with one bullet from his Mida. This was in iron banner and his Mida had lower level than my scout rifle. And the hand cannons still kill you from the other side of the map,

Honestly I think it's pretty good, anything could always be improved, but I find I'm still winning battles with auto and pulse rifles even some scouts, on rare occasion some HC's as well. I think the key is using the right weapon for the right map in combination with your style of play along with understanding the distances your firing from. Just my opinion. These are the guns I use in PvP on a regular basis; all have really good rolls! most are equiped if you don't believe me. Grasp of Malok Nirwens mercy Doctrine of Passing Paleo Contact Hatchett (IB) Hung jury Treads upon stars ..... even have a good roll on my Water Star HC, feels good, miss using hand cannons more often course my special weapon is Invective and heavy is either RL or MG

I will agree that the mida is maybe a little OP and the 1k stare/TLW combo is silly, but I think this is a well balanced meta for the most part. I don't think this is as much of a [fill in blank] meta right now. The last meta was the pulse meta because they were the only usable primaries at the time. Now I think every primary is useful and they all work better in different situations. I see autos, hand cannons (the exotics at least), scouts and pulses. And I'm still seeing lots of shotguns too. If every weapon type is usable, I'd call that a good meta.

No one was using scouts and far fewer people were using snipers and TLW, so autos could wreck. I also had a Suros PDX-41 pulse that had a godly range thanks to the perks. It played like a burst fire scout. Shotguns were worth a shit, too. There was a ton of variety.

They're also arguably the best-looking weapons in the game. Damn I miss 'em. Too bad all the good-looking ones now are low ROF and therefore outclassed by the bullet hoses. Maybe they'll get a buff in the next patch!

Yep agree, this was the best. I think other things needed buffed rather than just neutering Pulse Rifles. I miss Red Death, a personal favorite, and had JUST gotten a God roll on a Lyudmila D like 2 weeks before the patch hit, and was absolutely in love with that thing. I miss Pulses in general they have always been a favorite weapon type and now they are back to being almost as bad as in the old days. Yeah the high ROF ones are still good but that's it.............what's with Bungie's fetish with high ROF stuff anyway? There are way more fast firing snipers than slow, high ROF autos and pulses are the only viable options in their weapon types and high ROF scouts have possibly the fastest TTK at virtually any range. I just want some more options FFS.

Definitely my favorite meta as well. Hell I would even take the HC meta over the current one because right now it is just so unbelievably boring.

I agree. I loved the Pulse meta. Since that update crucible just became such a nightmare to play and then matchmaking went to shit. It brought out all the sweaty scrubs
