Totally. This was the best thing Bungie could have done. Though, now I expect them to tweak 335 items to rarely drop to compensate for this new infusion system.

1 ReplyThis has come long and gone I feel bad for the guys at Bungie who are Assigned at the Infusion System of the game that they fvcked up the first time they tried it now people HAVE WASTED THEIR EXOTIC SHARDS FOR NOTHING AT ALL. and they said right before when Destiny launched that they aim this game for the casuals and yet look at the casuals now they don't have exotic shards asides from the duplicates they have which were useless and just for the right for them when Patch 2.0 came out that they intentionally are fvcking up over our faces that they made Xur stop selling Exotic Shards right before when TTK Launched and even more intenionally fvcking it up even more by making Xur again Sell 280 Exotics which Further Increased the insanely stupid grind in this game #MayDestinyDieSomeday

You know, I was pretty bummed about not being able to reasonably get Dark Souls 3 on release, but this helps. I'm glad to see Bungie is making a bit of a big comeback

The infusion system is what im hyped for! Its done it for me! It makes it worthwhile doing the Raid or even poe, as it will prove useful.

I don't understand the excitement for -Challenge mode PoE -1 new strike -Old weapons and gear coming to new light levels This update is damn lazy and literally the definition of recycled content. The fact that Bungie is getting away with this pisses me off to no end. If it wasn't for trials I would not be supporting this game at all right now. And thank god dark souls 3 releases the same day.

Or if the current infusion system was/is not broken, do we thank them for being spineless and changing it for the whining masses? 16 RepliesI'm not completely sold on the 1 to 1 infusion at the moment, it sounds too much like HoW Etheric light. Problems I had with Etheric light is that it was too easy to obtain, took my mate 6 hours to reach max light and took me 2 weeks to have everything I needed at max light. I personally liked what we have now with its gradual climb to max light. I do feel it needing tweaking as my gun arsenal was limited due to not having them levelled up. I think just adding multiple ways to gain max like gear would of been fine, and adding 1 to 1 might max it too easy. I enjoy playing Destiny but also like needing gear to make my hunter stronger. Sitting at max light with everything I want won't stop me playing, but will definitely take away a part of the destiny experience for me.

1 ReplyI wouldn't say it fixes the game but it is a start. What I would like to see is RNG being tweaked so that when I decrypt a purple engram I get something that I can perhaps infuse. I decrypted several purple and several blue that gave me legendary stuff, however everything was close to 13% lower that the light level I was when decrypting. Similarly when doing endgame stuff you would hope that what drops is at a higher level so You can infuse your favourite weapons.

What can be taken away from the stream is: Don't infuse anything until the update is released. Also, Y1 Sunbreakers AND Queenbreaker? YES! My most used vanilla exotic and my favorite HoW exotic! :D
