In my opinion the division just doesn't cause me to feel that sense of wonder and curiosity that Destiny has. For example, after The Dark Below was released for Destiny, I was absolutely hooked on the Hive and the lore behind them. Nothing in the division does that for me like destiny has. I know they are both set in different worlds but the division has reached the climax of what it can do. The finally boss IS A -blam!-ING HELICOPTER! Destiny's boss is a giant badass alien (referring to Atheon here not the vanilla boss) that you need teamwork to kill. Sorry division you were fun but I'll always find my way back to destiny because of its extensive and interesting lore
Yes I realize the vanilla final boss is the three minotaurs but seriously can those really be considered bosses? I just refer to the raid bosses as the final bosses because they actually deserve the title
Edit: "IN MY OPINION" those are the words I used so don't freak out if you don't agree
Edit: Why is this trending?
Edit: I just realized you never see an infected person in the division like what the -blam!-? Does that not blow your -blam!-ing mind?

Destiny requires you to leave the game, to read the grimoire, to get the story elements. The division has an equivalent of the grimoire, but it's built into the game and is accessible anytime, and most items use full voice acting, not simply text like destiny.

6 RepliesThe Division lacks what Destiny excels at and Destiny lacks what The Division excels at.

Sooo...
nerf fusion rifles?
The thing the Division lacked was a diverse set of bad guys, they all felt the same.

PowerPoint? Word?

5 RepliesThe Division needs Zombies or something along those lines, it gets boring, and you can't jump and that pisses me off. I agree with what you say, Destiny just has more lore to it, more to see. Destiny has a story you knuckleheads, it's just getting started, calm down.

Destiny excellent at making people hate the developer. So that is a good opposite.
-
Wonder and curiosity? Are those exotic weapons I haven't heard of?

3 RepliesDivision is the most boring game I've ever played
-
Destiny maybe needs to redesign their look system.
-
Your all wrong vanilla destiny final boss was Atheon :P
-
The division would be so cool if they had mutants as a result of the outbreak.

"An even more boring version of Destiny" ~Honest Game Trailers

Both are good at what they do. When I play division I feel immersed. I creep, check corners, rely on my team much more. The skills i use are a part of a whole. My other teammates make up the other parts. In destiny I feel like I just look out for myself most of the time. I never get the feeling of being immersed.

yep Destiny excels at pissing people off , because they listen to too many people ... just like all the changes they made from year one they are finding more people liked year one because it kept you playing year two does not and the weapon whining we wont even touch that
-
I agree with everything you said. There will always be haters man just ignore them.

1 ReplyDivision agent 1: See those criminals? Division agent 2: Those ones killing people, looting, forming a gang and overall just trying to find a way to make it in this messed up scenario? Division agent 1: Yeah those assholes!! Division agent 2: Alright yeah I see them Division agent 1: Shoot them now!!! *Gunfire erupts thought the street* Division agent 1: Yeah we got 'em! *checks the dead bodies* Sweet a new scope!! Division agent 2: Aren't we looting too? Division agent 1: No, shush <.< yes, I was in it for the loot >.>
I know it's a bit more than that, but saw a pic with sow thing similar and had to write it down, too lazy to find it but not too lazy to write it
It is what it is . Division is set in a "real world" type of setting..only so much you can do..destiny is scifi and can make up whatever they want so they can be more "creative"..
-
The Division does what Destiny doesn't. Destiny does what The Division doesn't. Should this be a surprise? *They're two different games.* Enough with these comparisons already. Neither are perfect, but both give you something good to enjoy that outweighs the bad. Play smart...play both!

Edited by Art0rias26: 3/30/2016 4:06:39 PMBoth are great games but when u reach rank 30 and DZ rank 50 all you do on both is farm and wait for new content i like the division. But the farming part came a bit sooner than expected way sooner than it did in destiny for me anyway. Just waiting for both updates on both games and will be playing both. Because you can do that

1 ReplyDont worry man people will get pissed off at just about anything nowadays.

Fun, that's what it lacked for me. I don't have anyone to play with and don't care enough to try matchmaking so I'm sure it's mostly my fault. I just didn't have enough fun to care anymore, got to like dz lvl 19 and called it
