Consumed Hunter?
I haven't seen anyone talk about it and we may get the answers next week on the live Bungie part II feed but l am going nuts! Has anyone else noticed the Hunter in full consumed gear? Is this going to be a new Hunter Race we can pick or perhaps armor pieces and how the Hunter looks in full armor garb? Anyone else wonder or find any leaks on this?

If you watched the live stream they explained it. The taken armor is earned from chests that also can get you a chroma glow. The taken armor is not because of a chroma. It's is just colored like that. All gear from these chests drop at light level 3 but an be infused up since there is no loss to infusion now. So if you have any high level gear you don't need save it to upgrade the new armor coming in.

Well jury is out. I would like to thank the asshats that called me a moron and it was shader. So here are the facts people. First l want to thank the open mind, non attacking people. I appreciate that. You other asshats with nothing nice to say and thought you knew it all! Who is the moron. If you didn't see the preview, chroma is how you will color your armor with 4 different color options per armor piece. These armor pieces only come from the factions as rewards for levels. You can't buy the pieces with marks. Then you need to acquire the chroma to change the colors. The desolate look is the taken look. This is like Kings Raid where you have to find and get all the 4 pieces to become and look like the taken. It is NOT a shader. Nice try on calling me out with your obvious lack of knowledge and guess snack talking me down. So again, not a shader but armor pieces you can earn over time from the post office each week or by doing the new challenge made to beat the new taken archon priest!!! Only way to get this new armor. So now we have the facts and accurate information.

1 ReplyAs far as we know there are 3 chroma glows. Red, Blue, and Taken. The taken chroma makes the entire armor and weapon taken shade while the others only have a little blue sort of like something from Tron.

The hunter was only wearing the taken shader because the hunter gear is going to look ugly without it.

Here is my thought (and it probably isn't going to happen, cuz to me it would be too badass) That consumed Hunter may be the Taken King's Assassin... or something like that. A new enemy, one that used hunter abilities can go invisible, as well as be fast, agile, and accurate. Think about it guys, the warlock and titan are just normal, but the hunter is in the backround as like a full-on main character/ villain. What if when Oryx went back, after you defeated him in ttk main mission, he summoned an Assassin/ bounty hunter/ mercenary to combat you, either since Oryx new he was going to die, or the hunter was too late. What is this is just a rouge hunter, one you will need to fight, OR has just been consumed by darkness...

I doubt its a shader. It affects the class item fully and has an effect on the head if you havent seen it.
