Year 1. Everything I have to say has already been said. I would say that I preferred being returned to orbit if we wiped during the nightfall. Made the activity much more exciting.

1 ReplyThe game was new, so I liked it better back at the beginning. I really enjoyed TTK though. There just wasn't anything worth chasing (fatebringer, ghorn, bh) in TTK. It's also when they really started to exclude old content. I also hate the nightfall and weekly heroic changes. Of course I like that I didn't need to grind for materials or experience for weapons and armor this time around. I hag enough parts and motes. Still, I prefer y1 over all.

I like the additions of year two but the weapon/gear/subclass balancing got out of hand. I also miss the old gear and raids being relevant.

Tuesday nightfall, VOG and crota runs.

I did not move forward with ttk but i played a ton of both pve and pvp in year 1. It was really bad, really glitchy, exploit after exploit. From what i have seen year 2 seems better but year one guns seem better in regular pvp. I loved reforging. Still do.

House of wolves was my favourite because apart from the shitty poe, everything in the game was relevent and able to bring up to max light, everything looked unique and well trials is my favourite game mode even though I can rarely get a team together and go flawless.

I miss some parts of Destiny eg getting strange coins for weekly or when Vex was the end game weapon

I miss nightfall, weekly, VoG, and CE 3x/week each. Nightfalls were a LOT more fun. Elemental burns (or several) on each nightfall combined with elemental primaries was a total hoot. You could realistically solo every nightfall. The raids were fun. Gjallerhorn. No more :( Rewards stink. KF raid just sucks to play. 70+ completions on VoG and CE each. Maybe 6 on KF. Maybe. Infusion struggle bus. Can't re roll. No etheric light. Only the 'MLG' (losers) max out anything. Iron Banner is still fun.

2 RepliesHad the most fun during House of Wolves. Thorn and TLS didn't bother me too much as I used Red Death and the Messenger. I enjoyed it more than the sniper fest we have now. RIP Messenger Perunes Fire Truth loadout :(
