Halo 3 vs. Halo Reach
Yes, another which Halo game is better post. Except this one only includes two of them. I already know what the outcome of this poll is gonna be but I figure I would still create it. I prefer Halo 3, and don't get me wrong I love Reach as well. They both had pros and cons to them. Is your choice based on good memories in the game or purely by a gameplay standpoint? Let me know what your favorite aspects of each game are.
[b]Halo 3:[/b] I loved how you had to earn armor by completing specific challenges. Sure anyone can save up credits in Reach by simply playing, but not everyone can complete hard challenges. I enjoyed the maps much more such as Guardian, Sandtrap, and Last Resort. Also the simplicity of no armor abilities was nice.
[b]Halo Reach:[/b] It greatly improved forge and introduced the best map ever for it, forge world. A lot more armor customization and permutations like Inclement Weather. Not to mention the fan favorite game mode Invasion! The armor abilities added were nice too, with some exceptions of course.

I didn't play 3 that much.. I was too young to play it online during its "time." But it is my least favourite Bungie Halo. You move insanely slow and the field of view is [i]so[/i] small! And the vertical/horizontal sensitivities aren't even close to being the same. I hate how the game feels >_>

Both had memorable campaign moments. Halo 3 had better maps but Reach had both Invasion and Infection as permanent playlist which are 2 of my 3 favorite game-modes of all time so....

I'd say reach. 3 had better multiplayer imo jut otherwise i liked reach a bit more. Also reach was first halo-game i played(allthough a friend of mine who introduced me to halo said it was 3 that i played at first)

I'm surprised that Halo 3 is winning, not by much but still not what I expected. I think Halo Reach has gotten enough credit, too much actually.

I like both,3 had better MP and honestly who doesn't like Master Chief? Reach had amazing custom games that I played with friends for hours on end,and I liked how my Spartan was part of the campaign focus.

Halo 3 kept me entertained for 8 years and is one of my favourite games of all time. lolReach was utter shit by comparison. Forgettable campaign and the MP was garbage.

I had more good memories with Reach, and so naturally I'm more attached to the game. I'm biased, but I'll side with Reach in terms of which game is better.

I preferred reach's story more and the gunplay a bit more, and reach's forge was great. Both are really good.

2 RepliesReach I cared more about the characters. The campaign was better. The MP was better. Forge was better. Graphics are better. Sounds are better. Halo 3 had some parts that were great, but it didn't age well for me.

Halo Reach for features, Halo 3 for weapon/vehicle sandbox. Basically combine their best traits.

One of the best forge modes ever and a great ranking system to earn armor Both great games but I think halo 3 is just a little better for personal reasons not factual reasons

Small rant below [spoiler]they need to get rid of abilites like sprint, ground pound, shoulder charge, and even the ledge grabing. Get rid of them all. Reduce the aim assist. But im afraid its too late for the campaign, its already F****d. Unless they start over and pretend halo 4-5 didnt happen[/spoiler]
