I never understood why they stomped lightning bolts into the ground and proceeded to leave fire bolts the same, making them instantly better.

Let's Nerf tripmines and lightning grenades also. Don't even get me started on hunter smoke and poison nades buddy.

Everybody's complaining about nerfing everything, this is why this game is in such sad shape as it is. Instead of Nerfing and how about we balance subclasses and weapons.

Don't think they should be nerfed but tweaked so they don't tag you thru walls and solid objects...possibly shorten the dot with the same damage applied? But either way I'm not complaining. Oh yeah I main a hunter!

4 RepliesPeople are really overthinking firebolts. You failt to realize that it is not the grenade, but the damge over time. Please, if youre going to cry, at least cry about something worth crying for. You're trying to nerf a whole grenade class making it utterly useless. Then whats left for sunsinger? Solar grenades are pretty decent, but you gotta be accurate asf and its easy to get out off. Fusion grenades? Good for bout 1 kill, and steadily throw grenades cause theyre easy to miss. I main a titan and play on warlock the least, but i dont find them op at all and i feel sorry for all the warlocks out there cause stormtrance will be hit eventually and that class is beastmode asf.

1 ReplyWah wah wah. These babies crying nerf. This is the reason that the game is shit. Because people are always crying nerf. You nerf something, then in turn something else seems more powerful. Bungie needs to stop -blam!-ing with these nerfs. If you don't like getting killed by something learn how to avoid it, or learn to use it.

9 RepliesHow to balance sunsingers! 1) reduce range of firebolts by 30% 2) increase the amount of targets able to be hit from 3 to 6 3) Viking funeral perk change-targets on fire take 15% more ballistic damage. (That gives warlocks somewhat of a support class) 4) flame shield only activates on kill. (When in super it's a one hit kill melee anyway, it won't be to big of a nerf)

Annoying huh? Just like the smoke/grenade combo nightstalkers have? Thats not annoying? Or how Year 1 weapons are one shotting in Trials? Thats not annoying? Or how people HAVE to rely on special ammo to get kills so thats all this game has turned into? Thats not annoying?

Definitely. When I shadowstep away from a firebolt and it chases me out the door and around the corner to hit me you know the AoE is too big. Then, when it continues to burn me for the next 45 minutes, you know the DoT is too long.
