This is how Crimson doubles will go.
The crappy guardian jumps off map "goodbye cruel world ". Good guardian gets broken heart buff and stomps the other team. Yeah this is going to be fun..

There is no reason matchmaking should not have been included. "It is easy to find one friend" is sooooo missing the point. Maybe for some people who have odd schedules, live in an isolated area, or have only 30 mins to play each day.. it really isn't that easy. Or maybe they just want the convenience to log on, quickly be matched, and have some fun in the latest content. Judging by the reaction of the community, this is a bigger issue than Bungie wants to admit. Either way, the community has asked repeatedly, that pre-made "fireteam only" activities be limited to only the highest end activities.. like raiding or trials. If someone wants to log on for 30m, not have to fight with the idiocy of LFG, not have to draw back their friends who are now playing Fallout4, The Division, Star Wars, CoD, but to just log on and play the most recent holiday/festival content, it shouldn't require pre-made fireteams. Make it easy on them. So they may lose to a pre-made competive fireteam? At least they had a chance to play. Bungie still doesn't listen, they say they do, "silently" but then they do the opposite of what the community asks for, over and over and over again. This game world is so beautiful, the mechanics are usually amazing... the devs just get so stubborn about how they want you to play with their toy that they ignore the unhappiness of their community. In the gaming world, that will eventually cost you. As Byf said, sometimes the community knows what is best for them. People don't talk about Bungie the way they did in Halo 2, Halo 3.. go read the articles, listen to the twitchers, listen to the podcasts... these people decide if your next game sells or tanks. They are BEGGING Bungie to please start listening.. and then, in the aftermath of one of their worst PR incidents ever... they do *this.* They ignore feedback, again. It is creating a legacy that will be long remembered as "could have been one of the best games ever." I really hope the new CEO can turn this ship around. I love Destiny, and I think everyone who has stuck it out during these "dark days" does too. It is not just a game to me, maybe I am a Destiny Dork in the way that others may be a Star Wars Dork, or a Harry Potter Dork, or LotR dork, but it does mean something to me, and I hate to see it floundering due to stubborn, unwillingness to listen. Edit: I know the punctuation and grammar are terrible there... banging this out really fast. Will try to go back and clean it up when I have a few mins. If you made it this far into my long, wordy, terribly written post, I thank you for doing so. Even if you disagree with me, at least you listened.

461 RepliesWe tuned the buff so it's strong, but not worth having a partner suicide over. Max Armor, Agility, Recovery, & fast Weapon handling will only take you so far. :)

2 RepliesThe goal for Bungie is to make Destiny viable for MLG competition....they are dead if they cannot accomplish this....expect nothing but team-based pvp things from this point forward. PvP focus is here to stay....I hate it, but it is the reality. Division was awesome and that's where I am headed

You do realise that the bounties you have are earned by your teammate? Meaning if that was the case the good PvP player wouldn't ever get their bounties.

Don't forget that after you kill the first guy on the other team. The remaining one gets the buff too..... So unless you get a double down..... Mmmmmm

2 RepliesProbably 2 warlocks. One with self-res and other is stormcaller. Stormcaller gets boosted super generation from being with team mate. When self-res is charged, he commits suicide and doesn't revive. Stormcaller has boosted stats and tries to fry other team. If it fails, other one uses self-res

Some extra stats aren't gonna be enough of a difference maker for one guy to consistently slay both members of the other team. Unless that player was good enough to do that without the buff anyway. In which case who cares?

Both teams will get the buff, I don't see the problem.

Don't forget that on top of the buff you get callouts from your downed partner.
