Shade Step..... Um how are you not dead?
Sooooooooooooo, Hunters can basically shadestep anything?
Melees, rockets, nades, supers, bullets, sword swipes, fusion rifles...
More power to hunters using it and abusing it to its full potential, but can the other classes get a dodge as well?
Imagine playing Gears of War and everyone can dodge and you cannot.
I believe it is a key mechanic to any shooting game and to give it to one class vs the others is a bit unfair.
I'm not saying to take it away or nerf anything, I just think if you want to incorporate dodges in a shooter then you should give all classes the same concept.
Maybe I'm wrong who knows..
EDIT: I enjoy all the comments good and bad guys, I honestly understand both sides of the debate.

Imo Titans twilight garrison is better than the shade step. Evade in the air? Even more of a "where the fk did he go" moment

1 ReplyShade step is not quite as useful as you think. I've been headshotted with a sniper in mid shade step with everyone having a green connection (so no lag). Had it happen several times in different games against people with less than a 1.0k/d, so it's not like they were amazing and I was outclassed.

2 RepliesTitans have Twilight Garrison, which is universal. Hunters have shadestep [i]and[/i] blink. Warlocks have blink. That's it. I want warlocks to have something, because I was having a ton of fun using shadestep. Warlocks should get an evade thing.

I am kind of curious about the mechanics behind shadestep. Are there i-frames? Do you get dr during the animation? It would be interesting to know.

It's called Twilight Garrison. You should give it a try. It's actually pretty fun dodging nova bombs and panic fists!

Giving them an evade will [u]make[/u] them OP. Then Titans would have to get blink and Hunter's would have to get over-shield melees to be fair which would result in less class uniqueness.

Well titans have something similar being the Twilight garrison. I don't believe it prevents damage like shadestep

2 RepliesAnybody wanna tell me when the perfect time to shade step is cuz I've been stuck by fusion grenades many times and then I shad step but I still blow up so this post seems really odd to me I haven't really ever seen the immune part of shade step at all I mostly still play gunslinger and blade dancer I only use night stalker for pve but it's fun to shade step in pvp every once in a while
