How to create a better ToO.
1. Teams switch spawn points each round.
2. Heavy ammo round, the heavy crate is closer to the spawn point.
3. The zone spawn is random, it has more than one spot.
4. Teams that go 9-2 can go to the lighthouse and get a lower tier chest.
5. Teams that go 9-1 can go and get the middle tier and lower tier chests.
6. Teams that go 9-0 can get the upper, middle and lower tier chests.
7. Dedicated servers!
8. Anyone red barring is kicked to orbit and can't rejoin the same match if they are red for X amount of time [b][i][u]IDEA VETOED. LEAVING IT UP SO OTHERS CAN STILL SEE IT AND UNDERSTAND WHAT OTHER PEOPLES COMMENTS WERE ABOUT. [/u][/i][/b]
9. Better rewards after matches and in bounty packages.
10. Emblems and gear drop at X amount of wins guaranteed, like the weapons do at 7 wins.
11. All rewarded gear is a higher light level than what you currently have. Unless it's 320.
12. Improve the skill based matching to create fairer matches.
These ideas would improve everyone's experience playing ToO and bring back players to enjoy the future. Not to mention, it would eliminate the ppl paying to go flawless.
Edit: Tier chests reward different light level gear. Lower tier-310. Middle tier-315. Flawless/upper tier-320.

Edited by TBM: 1/25/2016 4:09:09 PM4 maps per week. New map each day trials is up. It would keep it fresh for people who play all weekend, and allow casual players who are struggling on a particular map to have a fair shot at it on another day.

1 ReplyGreat ideas all around, except for the red bar one. Sometimes people go red bar for absolutely no reason, and sometimes there's that guy who makes everyone's connection shit. It seems a little harsh, maybe if they have red bar for two games in a row, but I know occasionally I'll be red bar when my connection is fine. Is those damn skill based matchmaking lobbies that's screwing all the connections up.

4 RepliesI don't agree with people getting to lighthouse without going flawless,that's the drive having that perfect run(you even get two free wins and a loss forgiven depending how your games go)getting to lighthouse without flawless would be like doing half the challenge and getting a 320 item.Also dropping gear that's higher than what you wear is stupid as people would just grind trials for four weeks then be near enough done depending on the level.
