Im just gonna leave this here ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUN32LFCRZU ... Not my video, credit to the owner.
How you can defend Bungie is beyond my logic and understanding.
I don't play Warframe, I don't like Warframe, I am not promoting nor saying Warframe is a better game, the point of this thread is simple. Warframe, a free to play game has more features, more customization, more content and more things to do than Destiny, a $500M budget game has.
Edit: After reading some of the comments clearly people are missing the message and point of this thread, so I will clear it up for you. Yes Warframe is free, yes its not that great in people's opinion, even myself personally I played it and couldn't get into it, that is not the point. The point of this thread is if a company nowhere near as big as Bungie can make a game with that much detail in it and that many places to play with that much to do all for FREE then why is it Bungie can't get anywhere near it for Destiny? That is the point.
Edit 2 for the people that didn't read the first edit: The point of this is im not stating Warframe is a better game, it is not promoting Warframe, it is a comparison of features between the two games. Warframe is free to play with microtransactions to boost your way through quicker, the point is that Destiny is a game we all paid a base price for, we all paid for DLC and now we are all paying for microtransactions on top of everything we have already paid for. Warframe, a free to play game has so many more features and content in comparison to Destiny, a game that costs hundreds of either dollars/euros/pounds

3 RepliesI dislike it because I jumped in to play stealth (it's a mechanic HEAVILY focused on in the tutorial) to then only have 1 other bow and terrible stealth from then on. I like to sneak, they don't let me use a mechanic THEY made because the way they set areas up

This is #gaming... No where near as many people will defend bungie than compared to #destiny.
-
I dare you to watch this
-
2 RepliesWarframe is pay to win, everything has micro transactions on it
-
4 RepliesLel this is literally how I thought destiny was gonna be, well looks like I found my game
why isn't war frame more popular?
It all comes down to marketing. Destiny is (arguably) a AAA game, whereas Warfare, not a lot play it, or have heard of it. You are a big company. You have a game which has wrapped in fans. You wait until interest wanes, then announce and release a DLC, people buy it. Lasts a few months, people start losing interest, BAM. Another DLC. Before people lose interest this time, you start hyping up a massive DLC, like nothing before. Players wanna keep playing, to ready themselves for this epic DLC. It drops and has kept interest for what? 5, 6 months? Then, you release or announce, another DLC, to keep interest. This is marketing, and how big companies make money. Warframe, however, has not only been out longer, but also is Free-To-Play. This attracts attention. The smaller company behind Warfare releases it with tons of content, but also micro-transactions, so they make money. Thats the difference.

Warframe is garbage
notice how my comment has nothing to do with Destiny, but you fools will still use it as an argument
Since when have we been defending Density? ;)

1 ReplyThe fact that I can't get nuk3town in black ops 3 is already dumb. The things Bungie has done is nothing compared to the cod series and everyone knows that
-
2 RepliesDestiny was supposed to be the chosen one, but it left us in Darkness.
-
In Warframe you don't need to worry about aim assist.
Git gud
All I can say is, bungie had plans for Destiny. Those plans were shortly then torn to pieces and they had to make due with what was there. But at the same time that reason can only go so far.

1 ReplyLiterally pointless thread

7 RepliesTried it and deleted it. Worst game I ever played

Never played WF played the hell out of Destiny up until TTK. Now I'm thinking I might give WF a spin.

7 RepliesVanilla Destiny didn't cost $500m. That budget covers the series. When will people understand this?

6 RepliesI have a friend that plays warframe and when ever he talks about it it seams that some glitch happened Raid got stuck Couldnt use weapons Doors wouldnt open Kicked from game Thats all that seams to happen

188 Replies1. More isn't always better. Sometimes it is just more. Warframe chose quantity of content over quality of play experience. Destiny choose quality of play experience over quantity of content. I prefer quality over quantity (always have). Which is why I play Destiny, and gave up on Warframe after about an hour, and never went back. 2. Warframe is primarily an MMO...and a shooter as a after thought. Destitny started out primarily as a shooter...as was an MMO-RPG as an afterthought. With the each new expansion, Destiny becomes more and more of an MMO/action-RPG and less of a pure shooter. This is understandable given Bungie and its history. Bungie is a SHOOTER game developer....and its fans are SHOOTER gamers. So they initially designed the game thinking it would largely attract a shooter fan-base.... ...well, they were wrong. The people who have largely embraced this game are Pvp shooter gamers, and MMO-RPG gamers who finally found a FPS with some substance (PvE). 3. Warframe and games like it are not free. No business survives by giving its product away for free. Warframe is simply a game that monetizes itself by spreading the cost over the entire community and getting cash-rich gamers to underwrite the cost of the play of cash-poor gamers. Which is why it is a popular model with the latter. Because it creates an ILLUSION that the game is free. Whereas Destiny, simply asks every player to pay their own way through the game. But the DLCs are not optional...which has a lot of cash-poor gamers feeling left-behind and resentful. 4. Destiny is in transition. It tried to monetize itself last year by using a pay-as-you-go model for content, in the form of paid DLC. This was LOUDLY criticized by the community...and Bungie reported lrealzied that it didn't have the man-power to turn out 2 minor DLCs AND a major release every 12 months. What they are probably doing now is testing the waters to see if they can switch to a monetization scheme similar to that of Warframe and other MMOs that utilitze mictrotransactions. Usting the micros to underwrite the cost (in part or in total) of the content updates. We simply haven't heard anything to this point, because Bungie likes to keep secrets, AND doesn't like to announce anything until it is a done deal. They don't make promises....and then fail to make deadlines and have to push things back....like a lot of other developers routinely do. So the question is a simple one. Which do you prefer? Seeing how the cake is made-----mis-steps and all? Or do you prfere to see it when its a finished product? Iced and ready-to-eat? TLDR? No free lunches are out there to be had. The purpose of Warframe and Destiny are the same. TO MAKE MONEY. They just go about it differently....and which why you prefer is a personal matter. I prefer the way that Bungie has handled Destiny.l Which is why I have thousands of hours in Destiny, and walked away from Warframe after an hour, and never looked back.

Warframe also contains more features and customisation than The Last of Us or Tomb Raider. Not sure what the point is other than 'some games are bigger/different than others'.

1 ReplyThat video barely recognized what is good and bad about destiny. It was 100% biased and totally a mislead opinion. I would laugh if this convinced ANYONE.

Because Activision is a money whore.

There is no defending Bungievision Warframe is superior.

3 RepliesEdited by ABeardedViking: 1/14/2016 6:50:36 PMTo bad I couldn't get past the horrible combat when I played Warframe when it first came out

19 RepliesEdited by CitrusTheNile: 1/13/2016 6:03:35 PMI prefer Warframe over Destiny. They are very similar in many regards, but the Devs for Warframe got many things right were the Devs for Destiny got the majority of things wrong. However, the difference between Warframe and Destiny is that you actually need a brain to play Warframe. Warframe Devs did a good job in making the game too complicated for stupid people to enjoy. And for the majority who say that you have to pay to get the best gear, well you are terribly mistaken. The best gear can be ground for. Do a little research and people who have played Warframe for a while will have a way for you to get the gear you are looking for. Putting money into the game just makes the grind shorter.

Not gonna lie. Gotta try warframe.

2 RepliesTrust me, nobody in #gaming is going to defend destiny.
