Exotic defender boots
What if there were defender exotic boots what would they do?
My ideas
Idea1 being able to move ward of Dawn anywhere. And being able to detach pressing the jump button
Idea 2 revised: when using ward of dawn sends shock wave that suppress enemies around
I feel like lord shaxx watching the crucible "THIS IS AMAZING!"
Not trending yet just yet, everyone ideas Any ideas would be welcomed
Idea 3. Boots that buffs ward of dawn no supers can destroy from outside. Void walkers must detonate in bubble risking a life, strikers using death from above bounce right off u and one golden gun shot can only be deflected second one can destroy.

Simply gives armor of light. Good so you can pair with blessing OR weapon. If it granted one of the others it would be broken.

Heres another one: "Wave Shifters" "Thunder motion: Decreases radius of ward of dawn for a stronger dawn, deals shockwave damage to enemies, and grants gift from the void" I think this is pretty op though haha

3 RepliesPossibly OP but, here we go.... Boots of Infinity - The more Ward of Dawn takes damage, the more your super charge increases. Ward of Dawn gains a significant increase in size. Black widow - Enemies that enter Ward of Dawn become suppressed and take damage. Damage done to enemies restore health. Best of both worlds - Grants blessing of Light or Weapons of Light (you choose which one in the column) and Illuminated (Perks also stack).

"Bubble becomes linked to caster. Ward of Dawn will cover the caster as a protective shield, following them wherever they may go." Downsides: A: Ward of Dawn now has a health pool (destroyable by shooting) B: Ward of dawn can now be penetrated by projectiles; enemy damage is halved, allied damage is reduced by 75% and buffs are only 50% as effective.

Boots that make it so U can aim the bubble Like a nova bomb with lance on it. Doesn't do damage but u could save a team mate real quick from across the map

This would make Peregrine Greaves useful and then two exotics wouldn't be wasted on minor Shoulder Charge effects. That would also free up the MK .44 Stand Asides to be a useful Defender-specific Exotic and Bungie wouldn't have to make another armor piece. The perk I would like to see on the boots would be any of the following: 1. Double the radius of Ward of Dawn or 2. Get Bastion for free or 3. Creating a Ward of Dawn while near three or more enemies creates a tethering effect

1 ReplyIdea 2 is perfect, every super in the game except self rez can destroy the bubble and kill the occupants so being able to cancel them out would be perfect.

1 ReplyExotic boots "Help from above" Activating ward of Dawn in the air allows you to dive in a direction into it. ( basically death from above but instead of FoH you get the bubble. Imagine a group of enemies capturing a control point and you charge in and drop this then kill them all :) Let me know what you guys think.

3 RepliesAn ideal that I had, and it doesn't necessarily have to be in boot form is, when you put a bubble down people can't see into the bubble. Sort of like an inverse Saint-14.

3 RepliesHow about a pair of boots that allow a double dip into the weapons amor and blessing. Wearing them the the bubble duration is decreased but allow blessing of light and weapons of light to be active out of the same bubble. If you think about it make the defender a danger to go after if it was up and him holding a point with one more and allow the team to run throw and push throw at much needed time to defend his team make with the bubble and give them the upper hand of it lasting 1/2 time to keep in check and not be overpowered.

1 ReplyI would love to see the bubble be like a one way mirror so you could see out if you were inside it but not see in. Think it might make people a bit more wary of rushing in, or to use their own super to destroy the bubble.

7 Repliesthe inside of the bubble is filled with toxic gas that damages enemy's over time like the thorn. when ward of dawn is destroyed it lets the toxic gas out into the area for the rest of the ward of dawn duration but is less effective :)
