I think at this point we need to start over with the weapons. They are a mess. If this plays out we are going to need Cozmo and DeeJ on these forums fulltime with help to give feedback back to bungie
Any thoughts?

16 RepliesEdited by gallp13: 1/8/2016 12:57:47 PMTL: DR : Y2 Balance >> Y1 Balance ROLL BACK ? Hmmm ....... Let me see .... 1. OP Suros 2. OHK sniper SGS 3. OHK sniper Fusions 4. Sniper hand cannons 5. Months and months of Thorn 6. OP Red Death 7. Last Round Snipers 8. Original Vex Mythoclast (thx Feyanin) No thank you. ------- BALANCE IN A MESS ? I agree with Nobel 6 - Y1 had way more problems. Y2 Destiny has progressively improved and is on the right path facts don't lie; Percent Kills Top 10 Primaries Control last patch to 6 Jan 2016 4.25% MIDA Multi-Tool 4.03% The Last Word 2.57% Zhalo Supercell 2.22% SUROS Regime 1.99% Hawksaw 1.74% Red Death 1.68% Hawkmoon 1.67% Nirwen's Mercy 1.52% Monte Carlo 1.32% Bad Juju Data across roughly 4.2 million players shows an improving spread - leave it a month for "MIDA Madness" to settle and these number should even out a little more. Then tweak, if needed, to even the spread and provide maximum choice. Again no thank you. The facts show this is the most balanced Destiny so far. 1 ReplyI barley see deej on forums why is that?

23 Replies*Vomits in mouth* You mean 100% Suros Regime meta? Yeah, worst time to play crucible. I don't know about you people, but right now is the most diversity i've ever seen in PvP, and that's a good thing. If you can't adjust to wide spectrum of opposition, PvPis not for you. Learn how to adapt.

7 RepliesPre 1.1.1 wasn't the old glory days people remember it as, it had its own problems and OP guns, the game has been getting better with each patch. If anyone removers when destiny launched fusion rifles where way OP. There is no perfect patch but it has been getting better.

1 ReplyWait. Yes but a couple of changes Nerf autos 7% Buff pulses 6% Reduce hand cannon range 30% I remember what it was like.

1 ReplyEdited by TheArtist: 1/7/2016 8:45:16 PMNot sure what you mean. Back to PRE-PATCH 1.1.1 or POST-Patch 1.1.1 If its "pre"....then yes. Suros had largely had its teeth pulled by patch that time...and the things that were REASONABLY wrong with the meta would have been an easy fix. a. install range the drop-offs in damage that have been slowly added to the game for each weapon class since 1.1.1 b. Give PRs the 9% base damage and stability buffs they received after 1.1.1 to make them competitive. c. Roll back the stability perks for Fusion rifles and the range on high impact FRs. So basically a blend of the pre-patch 1.1.1 and the patch 2.0 metas. Do that, and you have a weapon system that looks and performs a LOT like that of Titanfall...and would be the closest thing to balanced you can really ever hope to see in this game. Post-patch 1.1.1? Hell no. Broken ARs and exotic hand cannons and shotgun rushers completely out of control? No thank you.

1.1.1 isn't exactly the be all end all patch. Certain adjustments would be needed. But it was better than now, in terms of overall weapon viability I guess?

1 ReplyI would love to see a clean slate at this point. With a few small tweaks, the balance was near spot on.
