10 tell-tales signs your not going to beat Oryx:
10. You wipe more than 3 times at any stage before Daughters
9. People talk about random shift-f while playing
8. There's no fireteam leadership
7. Players could care less whether you get the chests or not
6. Players posted "looking for quick run" on LFG
5. No communication!
4. The 310 fireteam leader is a HM veteran
3. The fireteam leader has the lowest light level
2. One of the Titans doesn't have BoL levelled up yet, so he runs relic
1. Player tells everyone to kill the wizards and knights at totems while killing none himself

I think the opposite, the people wanting to take time for the chests are usually noobs. 6. I am always looking for quick runs. 3. Why does light level matter, as long as everyone is over 310, it really doesn't. RNG luck does not equal skill. 2. Titans are fast, why wouldn't they be able to run relic, I've run it on my titan. 1. This is true for any part of the raid. Otherwise sure, but overall your list is complete crap from someone who doesn't seem to know what they are talking about.

9 and 5 happen to me when playing with randoms. Last time I had to bailon them. Couldn't take all the crazy lingo like "little rip" and "the feels" every ten seconds times five.

Most of those have happened during runs. At every stage. Yet I still complete the raid. You act like its some difficult thing to do. All of the raids are easy.

I post "quick run" nearly every time. If you do the raid soon enough after reset you can almost always find a group who can back it up. That said, groups that either don't talk to talk too much are a bad sign. Too little and most often its people not focused or concerned about getting it done. If people know each other in real life its a drag too, because at least one of them is being carried.

9 though its fun when you got other people who are not so serious all the time. A game becomes to serious it fails to become a fun game anymore.

I have around 250 moldering shards, I've started deleting them when I get to oryx because I've found, as well as multiple others in my clan, that when you don't have shards on your character when you beat oryx you get better loot. Exotic chest is the only one we get and it doesn't slow us down

A rando, when told to run relics at beginning, states "I don't run relics" Oh...

One of my favorite things is when an impatient guy leaves after two Oryx wipes, then we pick up a quick replacement and beat it on the next run.
