Most balanced meta ever
This is without a doubt the most balanced crucible meta ever but some people just can't handle dieing to someone using the MIDA at a range where they can't hit back with their Zhalo or the TLW at close range. It seems like these people want to kill the weapon diversity that makes the crucible more interesting than most FPS's PvP and just have every weapon be the same.

If anything, they ruined diversity with the most recent patch.

Lmao. I used to run mida and snipers before it became popular. If I was still playing this I could easily come up with a new set and counter current play style. But we need to let this game die, Bungie will never turn this into Star Wars.

8 RepliesI disagree. This meta has been one of the worst. It's just given rise to mid range snipers left unchecked and the mida used to counter the excessive use of snipers. It's the special weapon meta.

Um.. Sure... Mida with the far range.. Zhalo with the crowd control.. And the last word with.. The killing people pretty fast.. A lot of guns need nerfs and rebalancing, I'd like to use something else for a change.

Maybe as a manner of opinion. But last word/ mida and thousand yard stare have now infected every aspect of this game. I see more thousand yard stares in trials then I saw thorn in year one

This IB I've seen Zhalo, Nirwen, Red Death, Monte Carlo, Doctrine, Hawksaw, PDX-45, TLW, Hawkmoon, MiDa (of course), First curse and many others. It's not perfect, but it is not far.

2 RepliesPersonal opinion. Weapon range balancing has been perfected for each weapon class. Each weapon class having a niche in certain ranges. BUT. Of each weapon class it is unbalanced being that there is only one or two optimal choices for each weapon class. I could specify but no one wants to read the essay it would become then

You really need to consider what you are saying a little better. There never has been a balanced pvp meta since this game's inception. Every tweek has created a new meta. Mida is a very balanced weapon, ruining the other classes is leading to its dominance. Mida snipe/shotgun or Last word/snipe setups are the newest metas. Other scouts can compete, I find myself losing to mida by a bullet or two with my pdx, before the pulse rifle nerf we would be dead even. This meta may not be as over powered as previous metas but it is still becoming one non the less. Extend the damage fall off range of autorifles a little and give a small percentage of damage back to pulses and see what happens to this new meta, guaranteed you will see more gun variety.

5 RepliesMida can three shot headshot.... I use it, only way to keep my kd from dramatically dropping, only reason I don't want a nerf is because it's the perfect counter for snipers.
