Activision Lack of story Community. Yes, greed is something to point and blame about. Considering that Activision is the one who is marketing the game, they are the obvious ones to point and blame. Obviously their choice in the game's development wasn't the best choice. Lack of story, even so, bungie can't sit back there pointing fingers at activision for their ways, bungie is guilty themselves. I will say it again, I don't think that "story" is necessarily the problem, it's the lack of character development and build to the story. You can have the worlds best story and no character development, the story will be nothing more but words written on a paper. Regardless, bungie did produce one of the most shockingly bad stories seen in quite a while. Not just them, but the community itself is one to blame. Yea, the game isn't the best but it doesn't help with everyone jumping on them saying how things should be done. It also doesn't help when we bash them, as that doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help them, and it doesn't help us. This is why a lot of people think this community consist of immature brats, which I guess isn't necessarily wrong, but just the way the community is right now, with people on the defensive talking offense to pretty much any criticism, and then the people who just out right bash the game just to get attention, it's hard for the community to come together as one. Keep in mind, this is a game. The game isn't built just for you. People will disagree with you, and sometimes changes has to happen wether that change helps you or goes against you. Sometimes life doesn't go your way, and it's the same thing as this game. Nothing is going to be perfect, so stop trying to change the game. Yes ideas, thoughts and word from the community means a lot, however straight out attacking bungie/activision when something doesn't go your way is childish.
