The guy who did it said it was 16 orbs. Maybe at the same time?
The confirmed rewards are: emblem, ship, fragment, normal 320 challenge and 320 artifact.
Try using 16 orbs at once. ITS CONFIRMED Y'ALL. #ripnoknightsstrategy

2 RepliesSo I'm checking out the people's gear who've said they've done it and everyone seems to have a 320 helmet. Confirmed or nah? I'm at work angry I can't raid so someone help me out with info lol. Btw I know about the shader and ship but 320 primary OR 320 helm?

7 RepliesI have heard some talk that the 50 calcified fragment reward is a shader. If this is true, then it is as expected. Some people will disappointed that it probably isn't an exotic. I personally see it like this: we already get an Exotic, Touch of Malice, through the fragments, why would bungie suddenly decide to be generous and give us a second just for five more? If the rumours are wrong then awesome, maybe a new exotic, but I highly doubt it.

9 RepliesIf your group uses the no knights stat, can you not detonate any bombs on phase one, face the shade, then proceed as usual with four bombs each round and the shade two more times?

Oryx was being a glitchy -blam!-er this morning we tried for 3 hrs and couldn't beat him and this is a group that beats him in 1 to 2 trys 3 times every week... He finally stayed smooth enough for us to get all for stacks of orbs and guess what happens he went to half health.... And we all ragequit.... There's no way the game is overloaded and our host connection was good... Wtf Bungie... People shouldn't die in ward of dawn.... People shouldn't die while in the air waiting to get teleported out of the oryx fight.... This method was so easy yet oryx just didn't want to play for the second week in a row...

7 Repliesbasically kill ogres at their spawn like normal run, kill knights if on hard, meet in middle with relic runner, do damage once Oryx slams. DONT detonate blights, just chill inside aura until oryx moves towards front. oryx will transport you inside with shade, kill it before it wipes your team. Rinse and repeat. the blights wont disappear, as long as they dont get detonated. Do this 4 times with no messing up and you'll have 16 blights on each corner by the 4th round. once you make oryx flinch on his 4th and last slam you go and detonate your own 16 blights at once, wait till you see your name and run back to middle. unleash your wrath on oryx just like always and he should be dead by the end of that round.
