This quest is literally impossible
Doing Fears Embrace on Phobos. At the end with the Echo of Oryx. And the adds are just demolishing me.
Why is this mission so difficult? I've had no problems with all the others solo so far?
About to go insane..

But thanks community for all of the suggestions and feedback. I've never had a topic explode like this did. And I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting to break stuff.

Yeah man, it -blam!-ing sucks. I basically got my buddy to come in and we both used celestial nighthawk plus 310 sleepers. Busted the echo down in like 5 seconds. I did the mission the first time solo, the second I said -blam!- it, best chance is to grab another person.

Did it solo on hunter Titan it's not that.. Hard....

Just take a break man. I did that and got in in one go upon return. I was surprised really.

Did it yesterday but with a clan member. Tried it solo but its a madhouse! Ask someone its not worth the time to solo

Edited by Ghost J34: 11/27/2015 5:18:54 AMAs others have said, just stay in the doorway where you first walk in for the entire fight. Only pop your super if things get hairy. I've solo'd it several times that way without a problem.

Yeah man its tough. I stood in the doorway and sniped her... then I dropped my super for the first wave of adds... then repeated. Very tough though man.

I hid in that back room and killed the phalanx and goblins with nades and my super. Definitely took a few tries. Some rng in the ads attack patterns. They are super annoying.

Go to the doorway where you first walked in. Stand at the front of it and shoot any enemies you see. Once enough enemies are gone, damage the echo as much as you can. If you see "the air around you cracked and burns" or if you're overwhelmed back up to the back of the hallway

4 RepliesI solo this mission. I used arc exotic sword I sniped the knight with 318 1k stare it's hp went down to about 15% when the echo spawned I SS the echo and spammed exotic sword from far it died in seconds then finish the knight with the 1k stare

Use your gally if you still have it thats how I did it.

Soloed it a couple times. Find the little out cubby and hide.

Stay back at the spawn area and snipe everything it's very possible to solo

Solo'd this myself and it's definitely a challenge. I hit Echo in the face with my sniper until he moved to the left, then I hit him in the face until he disappeared. At that point I cleared some ads left and right (all from the room at the start), then when Echo reappeared, hit him in the face again with my sniper a few times and the wizard spawned to the left. At that point it was a tether and Sleeper Simulant that finished things.
