Iron banner is basically over. Was it worth it?
For me, it was fun. The only drop I had the entire time was a 314 ghost. Not that good. My rank 5 was a 311 ghost and the sniper at 311, again...not overly great. Regardless, the change was solid. Your thoughts?

I'd say so. Got the arms and chests to drop without having to buy them, as well as the weapons. Rank 5 got me the scout at 319 and 2 sidearms I've been looking forward to the IB armor since TTK launch, and I'm just missing the helms, I'm happy :)

Got each piece of armor on sale, each weapon, 310 artifact, alright, not the best but not bad. And on rank 5, I got a 313 Haakon's Hatchet. Got mixed feeling about this one, but at least it's above 310...

318 fusions rifle, 317 scout rifle, 314 hunter hat, 310 titan gloves and a 313 ghost (plus a few other odds and ends). It was absolutely worth it.

Pretty good. 313 companion helm for warlock, 313 weylorans sniper, 315 boots for hunter and a 320 ghost shell

I got the fusion rifle (314), a cloak for my hunter (314), the shotgun (310) and many many, chest pieces, and a few gauntlets, and of course, five of the HC's, one purchased, and one having a decent roll (Sureshot/Rangefinder/ Reinforced Barrel/Life Support). I really liked it this time around, continued playing even after my characters all hit rank 5 on Friday until it ended (with breaks for life and family, of course) EDIT: Oh, and got the Substance 321 shader from the Cryptarch, which I have wanted.

And I managed to post a pretty decent k/d in the process. My rewards were not useful. 310 boots, 310 ghost, and a bunch of sub-300 stuff.

I hated that it was clash, but that's mostly because I suck ass at multiplayer. But the reward system was great, it made the torture worthwhile.

Notable gear (to myself anyway) that I obtained: Six 310 Ghosts and six 310 rare artifacts (plus some other 310+ stuff listed below) for all my characters from the rank 3/5 packages. (Yes, I play six characters; 3 on XB1 and 3 on PS4) [b]Also got:[/b] 312 helmet, 287 guantlet, 305 chest plate, and 314 Wolfwood Cloak (class item) for my hunters. 317 and 312 boots, 308 and 295 chest plate for my titans. Four Finnala's Peril (hand cannons) at 295, 288, 282, and 281. (can't remember which characters these dropped on). Two Haakon's Hatchet (auto rifles) at 312 and 315: Both of these were from my rank 5 packages on my Warlocks, hence the reason no great armor dropping for them, I got weapons instead. Susanoo at 280. Ghost shells at 316 and 319. (I also bought a Bretomart's Stand since that didn't drop so I could have one to mess around with.) I only played Saturday through Monday. (though I did pick up the daily bounties from friday to have a few extra to boost me in rank quicker.) Only time I've ever played all six characters in Iron Banner to completion, because the rewards were great for someone like myself that hasn't done the raid at all. All my characters were between 290-297 before this weekend. Now each of them are right at 300/301 with the right gear on, and if I shift weapons/ghosts around I can hit 303/304 max on most characters. First time I've loved (and hated) the whole weekend, since I've a PvE guy and had some downright aggravating matches, but well worth it this time. [spoiler]Also though I'm generally terrible at PvP, I had my own personal god-like moment in crucible yesterday. It only took two games to rank to 5 with my Warlock on XB1. It was on the Drifter map: 36 kills, only 11 deaths (3.27 kd) with a 4715 score. I know that's nothing special for some people, but for me that was far beyond my caliber. Plus half our team left as soon as the match started, so it was 3 vs. 6 for most of the match. We still won.[/spoiler]

I think it was the best IB to date.. The reward system and how they where giving out was a nice change. I got some 320 gear.. My light level stayed the same, but its cool to have the same light level with IB gear or raid gear now.

Eh. I had fun, so it was worth it...drops were sort of lame but I had a lot of them...5 HCs (shitty perks and low light on all), 4 chests (one was good but low light), two 310 ghost shells and a gauntlet (low light). From my rank 5 package, I got another 310 ghost and a 317 sidearm that I am sort of in love with (it also brought me from 307 to 308, so cool). So yeah, I had fun, got one gun I loved and went up one light level. Sort of worth it, sort if frustrating...which also describes my entire Destiny experience.
