What the...? Peregrine greaves??
Who at bungie's almighty think tank thought anyone wanted peregrine greaves back.
Can anyone confirm if it's still gonna have the same useless perk as y1 greaves?
Edit: from what I'm reading most veteran players would prefer some other piece of armor. I still don't know why the warlocks didn't get any love with this update.
The ppl that are all for them say they're awesome for some pretty damn specific situations and hella rare ones.
Alas at the end of the day I think titans got the most love with this incoming update. Brand new chest piece. Armementarium will be back. Only thing we need now is them feedback fences and we're set.

I have a feeling they've merged the perks of the MK 44 stand asides with the peregrine greaves. Allowing a longer shoulder charge activation time as well as the airborne activation damage boost.

Well the answer is: A LOT. See that Sunsinger with Ram? Radiant Skin, wow, what a tanky mother-blam!-er. It's too bad he dies when you knee him in the face. Voidwalker about to lob a collapsing star at you? No problem. Kneenja him before he does that. Little striker pissing his pants and about to level the place with a Fist of Panic? Professional counsellors advocate the use of Peregrine Greaves during panic attacks. Armor of Light Defender, nigh invulnerable to everything but collapsing stars, beams of Solar Light, giant shockwaves of arc energ- FAAALLCCON KNEE Cloud wannabes omnislashing around the place with an electric toothpick? Say hello to my MOTHER-blam!-ING O-KNEE-CHAN. It gives your flying knee attack 300% increased damage. That's 600 damage in crucible! In comparison, the hp of anything in pvp is... Significantly less than that. Not only is it a melee attack, it's also an arc attack. Arc burn and brawler modifier on? Enjoy oneshotting that Hallowed Ogre. It'll deal more damage than Celestial Nighthawk. With solar burn. Oh yea, did I mention that it also turns your knees into lightsabers when shoulder charge is active? And most importantly, it changes colour with your shaders. Checkmate Warlock and Hunter peasants.

14 RepliesWTF??? Are you crazy? Those legs are op as fûck. You certainly don't know how good they are. You don't run as a striker I see. I know a bunch of friends that are going to be excited those legs are coming to Y2, these guys literally get half their kills in a single game just by shoulder charging. Peregrine greaves can kill anything and anyone on their supers. It can kill an arcblade, a defender inside his bubble with armor of light, a sunsinger and even a Sunbreaker...you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. My friends are going to destroy in crucible with those legs. I'm happy they're back for Y2.

Because you can shoulder charge HoS titans and win. Because you can you shoulder charge major centurions and win. Because they look -blam!-ing great They're the best striker exotic by far.
