I'm 24 my wife says gaming is immature
My wife swears gaming in an immature thing, I have been gaming for at least 15 years.....someone shed some opinions on this
Update: I only play maybe an hour a week.
I have a 5 year old who my wife says she doesn't want him playing at all, hence why she hates me playing. This bothers me due to my background in video games. What is a possible solution?

Try explaining to her that video games are entertainment. They're the same as movies and tv. I had the same problem with my wife. She doesn't really mind me playing anymore.

Problem: there is no problem Play more and make gaming a problem. It will try to stop you but you won't give in. After you you ignore it for a while stop playing so much and it will appreciate. What could go wrong?

Gaming is a hobby, unfortunately it is a looked down upon hobby. I'm sure she has hobbies everyone does. Just because you are a dad doesn't mean you aren't entitled to fun
