NOTHING ..... will kill Destiny...
seems like every other topic is "insert game name" will kill destiny .... Oh no ... the world is going to end 12/12/2012 ... Destiny is and will be a game MOST people will always come back to :) Destiny is ever evolving and will continue to entertain the "majority" .... at least .... IMO
Edit- a bit of riff raff about this game and that game BUT it seems like the majority claims the "destiny" of Destiny will be TIME

1 ReplyOP is correct. Destiny is in its own spot in gaming. I've been saying this since last year. The combination of different genres and the multiplayer is what keeps the game going. Until something comes out as direct competition, Destiny will be here. We may leave for a while, like I did when HoW came out, but we'll always come back.

Fallout 4 most certainly will, for me. Not that it will kill destiny, but I will be on fallout until its 100% done, every possible way, every quest, every single detail. Then I'll resume destiny.

I think the reason why Destiny is still alive is because everyone is addicted to it. I got Halo 5, and it made me realize that Destiny has no substance whatsoever. When my friends are playing Destiny, they all sound bored out of their minds. As a person that beat the VoG hard mode on its first weekend, and Oryx hardmode on release day, I am not afraid to say that it is a chore. I don't see myself ever playing again.

Fallout 4. A [i]real[/i] FPS, even though it's not only first person. Or only shooter. Or limited to online. Or content cut. Or has a cancerous community. Or a bad game. Or made by greedy bastards.

No, not kill. But dwindle the number of over all players. Even if it's for a month or two. We don't see the active numbers, but I guarantee there's a player count drop when new titles are released. I'm sure fallout 4 and battlefront will cause a reduction in numbers. Idk for how long. I had 2 friends that were hardcore destiny players, once eso came out, they have never been back since. It's just pure fact. A new title release will either cause a temporary drop in numbers (I was off destiny for 5 months playing Dragon age, bfh, and witcher 3) or for some people a permanent loss of players.

3 RepliesFallout will kill Destiny. The abundance of filthy casuals on Destiny will flock to Their yearly recycled game. Meanwhile Bungie does things to enhance the grind. Nerf weapon parts, strange coins, exotic shards from dismantling, no elemental primaries so enemies with shields can eat more bullets. Getting nothing but normal raid drops while running it heroic. I've had my fill of Destiny. I've put in my time as you can see from my profile. However I have a stack of games to play and a stack of more to buy still. Fallout 4 Tales of Zestria Will be my new time spent. Tired of the grind. Tired of feeling like a chore to do this and to do that. I'll get my flawless in year 2 I Trials this weekend and call it a wrap. No elemental primaries from Trials is pathetic.

1 ReplyI did agree with you until trials. The loot is completely unfair, if you don't play pve you will be left behind. Since less than 10% of the destiny population even plays pvp, once everyone realizes there getting screwed it will die. I me and my 2500 hrs are half way out the door... 320 exotics fck u
