Have we gotten so sensitive that nobody is allowed to have any fun or do their own thing anymore without crying "but it offends [i]me[/i]"
This mindset is toxic. You aren't allowed to do anything you like anymore without some random kid saying "You can't do that because I don't like it too." If [i]the whole world[/i] doesn't agree with you, we just can't do it.
Forget that the [i]majority[/i] celebrates the holiday in some way.

I don't think we should have a Christmas festival due to the religious connotations. It's good for a company like bungie to have know company religion so having a Christmas festival would be retarded. They could probably just loophole it by calling it the snowflake festival or something and I'd be fine with it. But if anyone gets offended by a Christmas festival they're retarded.

If you follow the story or dialogue it seems like massive parts of history have been forgotten. Festivals are fun but if it's just this event with a different skin it would be disappointing. Snow would be nice but that's a lot to ask.

They did not call the Halloween event Halloween, they called it "Festival of the Lost". Since several major religions have holidays in Dec and Jan they can do a generic winter holiday theme.
