Without Hammor Of Sol (in its current state), what do Sunbreakers have that is cool and unique?

Nothing No shadestep, blink, extended range melee, grenades that follow you, self rez, tripmine grenade, bubble, or shoulder charge. If HoS gets nerfed the rest of the skills are going to need to be heavily modified

  • I find incendiary grenade paired with their jump/melee is a dead combo when not super charged. They're still more than able to hold their own w some good gun play.

  • How to fix 1: Make it so that the HoS Hammers can't one shot every other super in the game but still one shot regular people. 2:Make it so that instead of Cauterize recharging all health make it regen a portion. 3: Lower armor so it can at least be killed by a direct rocket or sniper headshot. Flame Shield activated ready for sun breaker hate

      The only thing that needs nerfed is the armor so they die from a golden gun shot or a high impact sniper. You shouldn't have a super that is nearly unstoppable. It's ridiculous. Everything else about the super is fine. Armor NEEDS a nerf.

      • I don't think they're gonna need them into the ground right away. I think it'll be an armor reduction and that's all to start. Don't worry you'll be fine. Just watch out for snipers.

      • Well the bubble and the self res you listed are also supers can't really count those I'd you aren't counting sunbreakers super. But the health regen on melee, grenade, and super kills is a nice little perk. Fusion grenades are good. A damage over time melee is good. Titan skating Melting point (like the tether but doesn't require a super) Instant recharge on melee with a melee kill Bonus agility and reload speed from melee, grenade, and super kills Faster recharge of melee and grenade when super is full That is a very good class outside of super. It just isn't a flashy perk like blink or shadestep.

      • Off the top of my head: 1) Health regen from grenades and melees. 2) Faster grenade and melee recharge when super is charged. 3) Fusion grenades 4) powerful melee with burn + a damaging sunspot or significant armour reduction 5) highest jump or titan skate 6) an agility and reload buff for grenade and melee kills Sound to me that the real problem is that you've been relying so much on the super that you've failed to explore the other perks properly! :p

          The Sunbreaker sub-class is very much centered around the Hammer or Sol. Yeah, I get pissed off when getting killed by it, but when I'm using it, I understand why it needs power. The Super is almost the only thing that this sub-class has that is truly viable. So, I see both sides of the coins on this issue.

            • Do golden gun kills regenerate health? No. Do golden gun shots & nova bombs track? No. Can we shoot more shots with an ability? No. Can we live through practically anything? No. Can we fire while running? No. Can our abilities charge faster with supers? No. Get lost, kid.

              • Melee can make enemies take roughly 50% more damage for a bit excellent for golgoroth. Sunspots have very good dps in many situations.

              • [i]PLEASE[/i], titans, stop with the "we were the weakest of year one" That's such a stupid pity party excuse. AEGabriel, who spent months as second place on the crucible leaderboards, used only a striker titan. If striker is good enough for that to be possible, they weren't bad, you're just bad. I'm aware of the fact it was partly Gabriels skill that got him up there, but honestly, have you people ever tried to titan skate? Makes striker the most OP thing in the universe.

              • So true...so true. Titans were the underdog for all of Year 1. Now that they get something that competes with shotgun range melee, purple nuclear bombs, and @$!#in blink people throw a fit.

                • Titans finally have a subclass that can contend with the warlock and hunters but everybody is like omg what class is that they've never been able to be this good in crucible...if i got a health nerf so it could be one hit by a sniper to the dome id be fine...i main a titan
