Cant get a raid group due to inexperience?
Im getting fed up with ppl who wont give first timers a chance at kings fall due to either inexperience, or not having black spindle/ touch of malice, or all of the above.
Its bs. I have a mic, im 294 light, who gives a flying crap if i dont have ToM or black spindle. Do a good deed, get your head out of your ass and take someone with you who could use the gear.

6 RepliesI might have a spot for a raid on Thursday. We are all experienced, finished it multiple times. If you have a 290 sniper and we have that spot and want to join let me know. Everyone is an adult in the group, no kiddies.

This is the only multiplayer game I've ever seen where you have to hunt for people to play with. OPTIONAL match making would make this game much better.

Not everybody enjoys having to explain every little detail. Respect will also get you a long way. You are the one looking for help after all.

I found the groups under the recruitment that are for people that haven't run it .. That's how o got in. I love the ahole people who say must be 305 or so makes me laugh.

Find a clan, that's the easiest way to get it done. Make sure they are active, raid, and do activities during your schedule.

Watch the videos and study up. I have taken 5 plus people through fresh. That's 5 hours of one raid. People are slow to learn and its getting old. Please if you have not done the raid study up. Will save a lot of our time.

Find a group of 5 other inexperienced people and beat it to gain experience...that's what everyone else had to do.

What I wish is that Bungie would create more strikes and/or missions that utilize different parts of the raid. The strike list is currently appallingly small. Have one that incorporated the pendulums and tomb ship jumping section so people would get used to the mechanics of that. Have one that incorporated half of the Basilica section (tho perhaps limit the activation plates to 3 times required - 10's too much for a strike). Have a lesser version of Golgoroth using similar mechanics. Use the Transept in a strike so people get used to that ...

I haven't taken Oryx down yet but I took many through VoG and CE before they proved they couldn't do it.

I completely agree with you... BUT, during the vault of glass, I have held ppls hand through it and I honestly have to admit, it was the most frustrating thing on Venus!!! Two ppl that I walked through with and three others with little exp. something I will never do again not because I HATE them, but because of the time use to finish a raid, and all the little things: jumping puzzles, gorgons maze, nexus little brother in VOG, etc. I literally had a Titan(has the best jump) who didn't know how to turn off his jet pack in kings fall During the torn between dimension jumping puzzle. Randomly chosen about 50 times. Fml. There are many nice and patient ppl out there that would carry ppl through, but I believe that most ppl just don't have the time to repeat multiple process over and over plus it gets boring after a while.

4 RepliesDid the raid with a few first timers last night,, when i make groups i only ask that people are laid back and positive. No elitist dickery. People like that make raiding a drag when they start getting pissy after a single wipe.
