Bungie: create an armory!
***Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, I forwarded my idea to the devs, they actually like it! Was very surprised, good job guys!***
Few of my buddies were talking about how cool it would be if they had a one stop shop with every single exotic gun and armor showcased on the wall, it would even contain the frames for legendaries so we can see everything destiny has to offer.
When you click on it, you can buy it for either 290, 300, 310, or 320...depending on how much silver you want to spend.
For the legendaries, you can do the same thing except you can pick or choose which perks you want on the gun, as in paying for each perk you put on the gun.
They could even have armory exclusives which are even more exotic weapons/armors than the best weapons/armors, kind of like a thank you to the loyal fans for supporting the future of bungie.
A small addition, they could have a vendor in the armory that sells all the parts you need to upgrade your equipment or gain buffs for xp.

Edit 4: and now we are trending again! Boy, yall are relentless! Most of you have stated about not wanting guns to cost silver, but instead, to cost gold.

I'd love one for legendaries, so I don't need to keep fatebringer just in case it becomes relevant again....again.

I think it's a cool idea to have a more expansive armory, where all weapons earned can be stored and viewed (at least legendary weapons, blue and green and white gear wouldn't be as crucial). I don't want to dismantle my Vision of Confluence even though I'll never use it again with its current attack value, but it would be nice to free up the space in my vault. I don't think it'd be wise to allow people to buy guns they hadn't obtained before through the armory, otherwise what's the point of all the different and unique rewards from different content. But it would be nice to be able to purchase any legendary gun we'd previously earned for a nominal fee (and nothing exorbitant either, seriously only like 1000 glimmer). Rerolling/reforging weapons and armor should still be a thing, but it shouldn't be done in the armory. It should be available through the gunsmith and if Bungie wants to keep it from being abused then there are probably some perk combos that should be impossible. The only thing that silver should be useable for is cosmetic items.

i dont get why youu want a pay to win situation. One thing about the game is doing a lil grinding for a gun with good perks. Youre taking the fun out of the game. Soon enough people are going to have the same guns, with same perks crying nerf this and that all over again. But then again who am i to stop people from buying things they want

It sounded great, until you said silver. Cosmetics only. No pay to win. Not including silver, putting your own perks on something is what broke the multiplayer back in HoW because everyone re rolled for the same perk.

I love your idea, the silver thing is a problem though. Exotic shards for exotics, motes for legendaries, and marks overall.
