I think patches should cost money.

Now hear me out. I don't see why anyone should be given updates to this astounding game for free. The amount of work bungie put into nerfing the strange coin drop rate for a second time is quite simply, extraordinary. They even reduced the motes of light drop rate! Not the mention the minor patches such as the three of coins nerf, the weapon nerfing (including the exclusion of raid weapons from year two entirely), and the outright paywall placed up to dance funny. You kids are so self entitled these days. And I for one won't stand for it any longer. Patches should contribute to the next patch, in order to allow bungie to bring about the next wave of enjoyment nerfs a lot quicker. Any major updates should cost around $40, Whilst small patches such as this tip top one that fixed blue sniper scope bugs, should cost around $10 each. Nothing is free in this world and it's about time you young fiddlestick whippersnappers learned it. #PayforPatches
