Like the title. Period.
Edit 1: a lot of u that were commented this post pointed out the lack of ammo in reserve, I completely agree. I think that is one thing that bungie have to change in Sleeper Simulant, the other is the ricochet effect that's actually it's absolutely garbage.

13 RepliesPut on armor with increased fusion rifle ammo (you can get this perk on boots and chest armor and it stacks)
-
All it needs is an ammo capacity increase. 7 shots it's nothing compared to the damage it does.
-
I just think the ricochets should track targets more aggressively

4 RepliesEdited by Neutrill: 11/9/2015 9:24:31 PMI think it's good but I wouldn't be against a buff. It's situational but very good at what it does. Honestly I just use it a lot and got it to 310 for the ammo glitch. I mainly use Bolt Caster. When have around 15 swings or so left, I switch to Sleeper and get full ammo. It's like double dipping with each ammo synth.

3 RepliesIt's fine where it's at. It's not a Y2 gally and that's a good thing. We don't need another OP weapon that everyone uses. It's very effective at DPS if you're careful with your shots.

Defender bubble at boss leg + sleeper

1 ReplyCan't even get the damn quest to unlock mine...been playing since day one of taken King an still no quest
-
The one problem I have with it is the ammo reserve size just give us more lasers!
-
1 ReplyI think that the ricochet effect needs a buff. Like when it impacts the beam should split into multiple beams with the damage displaced (If it split into 4 then each beam should hold 25% of the initial beam)
-
4 RepliesSleeper Simulant is supposed to be a planned utility weapon. It's in the lore where it describes that it runs on the breath of other heavy ammo and weapons. Hence you pop a synth with rocket on, use all but 1, then switch to sleeper and that 1 bullet turns into a fully loaded sleeper. You pick up a heavy crate and then switch to it again, same thing. You're not using the weapon right. Subroutine_midnight exigence

Got mine the first day you could.. shot it 4 times.. put it in the vault.. still in vault

No it doesn't its good

18 RepliesPossibly an extra shot or two, but I find it to have the fastest time to kill of all the heavy weapons. My team and I killed Valus on the nightfall in around 30sec with two sleepers and a rocket launcher. This is alot faster than the Ghorn. It just requires more skill since you need critical shots for max damage. We are going to do the VoG and time the Atheon kill with 5 sleepers at 310+. I bet it will be faster than Ghorn as well.

Its a great weapon you just over hyped it, use it in pvp and yell firering my lazaaaaar!!! And that will make the gun 1000x better
-
The only time the ricochet thing works is when it hits a wall an hits me, and the ammo need to be about 15

8 RepliesI put on all my Crotas end armor yesterday to run CE for fun and I found out that I can hold 11 SS shots with the ammo perks

Definitely needs an ammo buff. I infused mine up to 313 to see what it is like at higher light levels. It is pretty underwhelming really. The damage it does per shot is really nice, but the charge rate is quite low, which causes it to get out DPS'd by snipers, and it has horrible ammo capacity. The other issue is, it is a heavy. Machine gun, 152 shots with the extra ammo perk. Kills 1 target at a time, but you have a ton of ammo and get many kills on each clip. Rocket Launcher, doesn't have much in the way of ammo capacity, but the blast radiance is large enough to get multiple kills per rocket. Fusion Rifle, must be a precision shot to do worth while damage. Can only kill 1 target at a time (realistically). Max Ammo 7.

5 RepliesI honestly feel like the gun itself is alright. It's fun to use and does massive damage. I do think the ricochet perk is mostly useless, to be honest. It's is too situational to be relied upon. I would like to see armor that gives bonus Fusion Rifle ammo affect it, only up to 9 from the base 7. Three mags would be plenty.

5 RepliesEdited by technoguy1754312: 11/9/2015 9:13:33 PMYou do realize they short limit the clip to prevent excessive use like gjallahorn was abused. Make sense they just dont want you realying on heavy is all
-
1 ReplyEven just two more rounds so it would have 3 full mags, I just hate that 1 lone round
-
2 RepliesF the ricochet how about something like key hole. That would be awesome.
