Dark Drinker is the best exotic sword...
- It has the biggest blade (size matters, ask your mom)
-highest dps special attack (confirmed)
-has the most aesthetically pleasing effect, void aura > Electricity/flames. (This isn't up for debate)
-it is popular with the ladies (they would clearly choose purple over blue and orange)
-I have one (which makes it cool because Imdabes😎)

The only reason why I picked the purple one is because my subclass is void. I honestly hate the color purple. And plus, I like the smoke effect

1 ReplyActually on a single target, Raze Lighter does more. I have personally recorded and tested this and although it's close, Raze Lighter comes out on top for single target cases.

8 Repliesidk. both the void and solar are great swords. the arc one needs a serious buff. if you are shooting things with that thing, when you have a sniper rifle that does significantly more damage, idk why you wouldn't infuse it immediately

I've had less success with the Special for dark drinker on enemies than the uppercut with raze lighter. Raze lighter> dark drinker.

Dark drinker is defiantly the best sword in almost all situations.. Amazing for adds. And great for single target.

Anyone else noticed while in crucible if you have heavy ammo using a sword and get caught in the shadow shot hunter arrow thing it's steals your heavy ammo? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this just happened to me!
