Dark Drinker is the best exotic sword...
- It has the biggest blade (size matters, ask your mom)
-highest dps special attack (confirmed)
-has the most aesthetically pleasing effect, void aura > Electricity/flames. (This isn't up for debate)
-it is popular with the ladies (they would clearly choose purple over blue and orange)
-I have one (which makes it cool because Imdabes😎)

How about range? Bolt Caster wins hands down. Your sword might deal more damage, but you still take a Frisbee of death like a small child.

I have all 3... The void one actually has the same DPS as the Solar one. The Arc one has the lowest, but has lots of range...

Bolt Caster has range. Other 2 swords cant even get near the bolt caster...literally.

1 ReplyI have Dark Drinker and Bolt Caster. Dark Drinker is my PVE weapon and Bolt Caster my PVP weapon. I can basically snipe with it. Only thing is I can't one shot someone wielding a sword because of the added armor. Takes two hits.

2 RepliesGlad I chose it, but disappointed with the effect animation. Spin to win is cool and all, but not what it should have been. When I hear SUPERMASSIVE VORTEX, I don't think it should just be a spin. It should have held your sword out defiantly and then unleashed a spinning void tornado effect around you. I can understand having spin to win on last gen, but current gen has no excuse for not being super badass. Just imagine, your guardian steps forward and unleashes an actual super massive vortex that encompasses everything around you, decimating anything that dares make contact with the destructive power that is, [i]Dark Drinker[/i].

I like Bolt Caster because I can choose to use it at varying ranges. I like the look of the sword more, because it's blue and has noice flesh peeling slits in it, and this is all my opinion which you can't call wrong.
