Can't Wait for HoS Nerf.
I'm going to laugh so hard when Hammer of Sol gets its well-deserved nerf and all the Titans start crying again.
That super is way out of line with the others. Though to be fair, Stormcaller is a tad bit over the top, too. I'm just so excited for the next patch/update.

Edit: Pre-TTK, I was on Xbox 360 since October 2014. Maxed subclasses for all three classes, each character at 33 (too cheap to buy the DLCs). Grimoire upwards of 3000, and a few hundred hours in Crucible.
Edit 2: I've reconsidered my point on Stormcaller. At least they're kinda squishy. Sorry, Warlocks.
Edit 3: I personally think the following issues are what individually make Sunbreaker OP:
15 second super timer
Abnormal number of hammers available to throw
Blast radius of hammers
Armor increase for duration of super
I personally think the best way to put HoS in line with the other supers would be to set a limit to the amount of hammers that can be thrown (maybe 6?) and decrease the blast radius of said hammers. That's it. If Bungie makes it to where I can just run away without being killed by a hammer exploding five feet away, I will be fine with even the armor boost.

I main a hunter, and I don't care about the Titans "op" hammers, it is good that they are op because in pve it really helps if they are op, and o don't know why some other hunters are whining because the nightstalker is awesome! (And op in its own way) [spoiler]nightstalker is just as good as hammer and lightning [/spoiler]

If every super had the same duration/stats/damage then supers really wouldn't be that special. But if Bungievision doesn't nerf HoS and says it's fine where it is then everyone will just have to accept that fact. Until Bungievision comes back with the statistics of each subclass old and new you people will have to suck it up and deal with it for now.

5 RepliesJust as I thought you're main character is a hunter... Remember the days that blade dancer was overpowered, Titans and warlocks feared you in a similar way... Now Titans have the edge, warlocks and hunters fear us now... Next the warlock will become overpowered, Titans and hunters will fear them... And the process repeats until all supers are equal or they all become garbage and we go back to old subclasses... This is destiny in a nutshell.

no nerf is needed, either buff the bow so its an instant suppression(which is killin me) or run suppression grenades. Its really not bad if everyone plays as a team and focuses fire on it.

2 RepliesLvl 28 Titan and 40 hunter. You should give Titan a try. You would understand more of how you counter it if you played it. Either way it's armor is getting nerfed a tad. Nothing major unless the team decides otherwise.

I'm a titan, I have saved footage on how many times I've been shut down. How many hammers I've thrown that didn't kill a fly in the vicinity. It's not OP, sometimes you just gotta die by it. If its your turn, take it on the chin & move on. Why nerf it? I guarantee if ya punk ass need a hammer while doing the nitefalls or raids you'll wish they still had that power. Stop crying. You have every right to make a titan as I have. I also have a hunter & warlock. Stop relying on the hunters long range GG or lagging ass bladedancer.

If HoS gets a nerf, I know all the 8 yr old Hunters will pop up and start saying "Haha, we're the best!" if Golden Gun can 1-shot. Those CoD boys that pick Hunters give a bad reputation to us legitimate Hunters.
