I think it depends on whether you get the normal Vex or the Taken. I got Taken all the way thru. And they don't have as many solar attacks available to them... So it was a breeze - if annoying. I can't imagine how frustratingly awful the first room and the stairs would be with actual hobgoblins on them....

4 RepliesSoloed half then a friend joined in and we finished it no problem. Its a much easier strike now that the taken were thrown in. No endless yellows on those stairs

I really don't understand why people are having such a difficult time. The first omnigul NF was way harder than this.

Piece of cake. Hang out left side, kill adds, then focus on boss until more adds spawn. If you can't kill adds, you should probably go play crucible and stay there.

Lol we killed the boss in probably 2 minutes with two titans running hammer of sol, 1 hunter with night stalker helm on, and 3 black spindles. It was stupid easy. We didn't even fight a full wave of ads.

The nightfalls are going to be challenging without burn primaries. we all got used to flying through them with our VOC's, Fatebringers, and Word of Crotas. all you have to do is work with your fireteam and save your supers for the adds and use MG's instead of rockets. Snipe the boss when you can and move around .Black Spindle worked very well.

Easy strategy- run with two stormcallers, have them save their supers for the major spawns, one on either side of the room. Spam UM with AOE nades and rockets so you don't draw fire. SABER, however, is a massive pain in the arse. I know loads of other people cheesed it but I'd rather do things legit. Tried it with 4 fire teams throughout the week and none of us made it past the warsat (granted I was only 286 at the time, but still).

Depends who you run with. I got paired with my friends who suck, and ya it was tough af.

Yup pretty easy, granted the first time I wasn't sure hubbies did a second time ND it was very easy, I'm thinking of spamming it to complete my 10 heroic strikes..lol

Just use the new supers my two friends were nightstalker and they just spammed orbs for me while I repeatedly used my Hammer of Sol. Done in 5 minutes.
