What is the worst Class for the Raid?
I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.

About the only part a warlock super is useful is when the taken come out on Golgoroth, at least warlock have a decent jump for the deathsingers but that's about it.

But if you ask which classes help make the raid go by smoother, then i would say its the titan and hunter classes. Titan for weapons of light obviously, and hunters for the tether to weaken boss and making orbs. Warlocks at the moment not so much, because of the lack of adds in the normal raid. Its still too early since the Heroic raid is not out. But if the "Heroic Raid" has 2x the amount of adds, then storm callers are a very necessary member. taking out tons of trash mobs quick for team survivability and making orbs at the same time. just my 2cents

3 RepliesThis raid is all about doing damage. Hunters have void bow and titans have weapons of light. Both are ten times better than anything the warlock class brings to the raid.

All classes will do the job. Depends if you can play properly.

Everyone is helpful in this new raid. Warlocks for clearing adds, Titans for weapons/blessings, hunters for tether. They're all useful in some way.

I am a warlock and it is my main, yet I know that it is not the best for the raid. But that does not mean it is useful. During the raid, I was the leader of our team, a warlock with every subclass maxed and have played since TDB. I was the shotcaller on warpriest, Found the chest in the maze (while others stood on plates) Shot Golgoroth for attention, stromcalled all the taken on last rotation with golgoroth, Easily picked up relic every time once torn and never failed once (Well when my teamates messed up I did xD) And fought oryx as torn. While titans and hunters pump out damage, Warlocks use control to do all the behind the scenes. I dont know how many times my super had saved the team before they died. Warlocks are the weakest, yet that doesnt mean they are worthless.

I saved a wipe at the end of oryx with my res on my warlock. As soon as I used it I was able to revive 2 others and we finished off oryx to put him in his final animation. Worlock is just fine in my raid teams book.

18 RepliesMy team and I have done the raid 8 or 9 times with 4 warlocks and 2 hunters. It's a cakewalk for us. You don't need a titan at all. Sure it helps a little bit. But you don't need them at all. If your team doesn't have black spindle you still don't need a titan. Hunters are useful with their tether cause you can do it multiple times and it's longer than weapons of light. The way I see warlocks are like the "Failsafe" of the group (Sunsinger), or to clear adds with Stormcaller. Usually you can clear adds with just your primary. Overall, all the classes are equal In the raid in certain instances. That's just my outlook on this thread.

13 RepliesWell, warlocks don't have a real "support" subclass. At least not on the level of a Defender or a Nightstalker. That's the main issue.

I can't vote for worst, as everyone has their uses in this raid, but I'll definitely say we titans and our weapon buff bubbles are supremely useful. No raid before had this many dps checks.

Warlocks are very useful, but the Titan bubble and Hunter bow are better than self res. Which you should be using if you're in a raid.

6 RepliesWarlock is the worst? At the daughters. On the final run we killed the witch as the timer got to 0 and our bubble guy had left cuz he thought we had beaten it. We all wiped and I was the only selfrez. I popped it and saved the run U guys can talk shit about warlocks but u all know they have saved you from wipes many times

Warlocks self res is good but not as useful as the other two imo
