Kicked from raids because of my light level
I'm tired of trying to get past Golgoroth when everyone either kicks or leaves me because of my 291 light level. I'm a decent player and I just want to get through the raid ;(
Edit: I've gotten to Oryx with a good team but had to leave because of work. To be clear I was being kicked before I even got into the party or game.

You cant beat oryx unless you are 295+. If you are under it means you have weak as shit weapons which will absolutely not do enough damage to him at the end. Just grind, like everyone else, and play CoO or vanguard heroic. Find a good pair of legendaries and just keep infusing them.

I dont think the light matters as much as staying alive or knowing exactly what your role is. Theres plenty of people who are 297 that cant do the raid for lack of knowledge. Id run with you as long as you meet those two things. 291 is close enough

1 ReplyAnything below oryx, 290+ is absolutely okay! But for oryx if you're anything below 295, you are handicapping the party. Not to say it can't be done but others will have to pull some extra weight. The thing that people have to understand is that four major ogres spawn in each phase for the oryx fight, and that means everyone has to be able to dish serious dps to make time for the knight/stagger phase and knock those ogres out asap. If you are not able to nuke due to lower light level (as you will be facing 300 light enemies) this puts a strain on the party. I stopped raid progression at oryx until I was 295 and then went back afterwards to finish it off. Your super close man just grind out a little more and you shouldn't have any more issues!!

2 Repliesreport them as Unfriendly, and Unhelpful, then remove them from your friend's list. 285+ Light is more than sufficient for the King's Fall raid. anyone saying otherwise is an assclown.

Don't listen to idiots just find people you have fun with me and my friends go through the raid in 2 hours max on all our characters. One time I was 283 and one other was 286 everyone else 290+ but it still was so easy don't let this light level BS hold you back. Light level doesn't matter skill of the game and knowledge is what matters.

Lol they kicked you because of 291 light, dumb -blam!-s i did the raid with a 288 player. And we made it to the sisters, then it was too late so we gonna finish up tomorrow. People need to know that it's 290 light for the raid. You will find a better group, let them go. It's like VOG all over again. Searching for group lvl 34 and gally only 😂.

Unfortunately all I've seem to notice is 295+ , experienced, with raid emblem....... it's been 6 days and less the 90,000 have beaten Oryx. I feel for you man. Hopefully you encounter good guardians that will accept your light level and get you through to the end.
