What will Kings Fall's exotic weapon type will be?
Each raid has a special weapon for its hard mode. VoG has Mythoclast, that was a fusion rifle. CE has the nechrochasm, which was an auto rifle.
What weapon type will King's Fall's exotic weapon be? I hope it's a sword.
Edit: Nechrochasm and Mythoclast were all looted on HARD MODE raids. I don't think hard mode is out yet. So it is NOT touch if malice.

It's life drain drawback is negated in the Aura of Immortality and allows for a constant stream of massive DPS (which is when the DPS is needed most). The weapon is earned by completing a series of challenges, including the Raid itself. By obtaining the Book of Sorrow, you learn about your enemy and ultimately use their own power against them. It's very thematic, as it relates to the Hive's philosophy of devouring, killing, and taking in order to achieve power. For them, it's to bring the end of the universe sooner (its final, perfect shape) as desired by the Ahamkara - For us, it's revenge for the pain and suffering they have inflicted on us. Touch of Malice quite literally uses Oryx's heart to power it - that's about as closely related a weapon can get to the Raid and it's theme boss. In fact, Touch of Malice is more in theme with its raid than the other two raid weapons thus far. [b]FYI, Bungie stated that the raid wouldn't simply be "normal" and "hard" anymore. Based on some of the stuff we've seen, there appears to be "challenges" within the raid itself that must be completed to obtain special, additional rewards - most likely the "Harrowed" Raid Set of weapons and armor.[/b]

It cant be the touch of malice bc all you have to do is follow the quest and its a guaranteed drop. Mah nigha op is saying the exotic raid weapon that has a CHANCE of dropping after killing Oryx. Im sure some people know thats what op meant buuuut some people love to bait.

Both have been primaries, so third would be too. Malice is a raid weapon, but not "the raid weapon", I'm sure it will be a primary rocket ;D

4 RepliesOwing to the fact that you need to complete King's Fall to acquire an item to get Touch of Malice, ToM is the Raid exotic. Unless it's the ToM rocket launcher.

You do have to complete the raid to be able to get malice however I don't know if there is an actual "drop" from hard mode

11 RepliesIt'd be awesome if when you killed Oryx on heroic, you'd get a "Arc Primary Infusion" material. If you infuse it onto your favourite primary, bam it's arc. Same with void or solar. Anyone else think it'd be a nice thing to have?

3 RepliesPretty sure it's touch of malice. The only way to get it I by killing the end game boss, so it appears as its the raid exotic. Hard mode I think will have different variations of armor and element primaries.
