Not really getting the whole "paid review" thing. Can someone ring up some convincing evidence that IGN actually accepts frequent bribes? I know they've made a lot of silly reviews, but I doubt it has to do with these "bribes". If it did, why would they make that information public to begin with? I'm remaining skeptical, but some reasonable evidence would be nice to have. I want to know if I can trust IGN, even just a little.

Even though IGN is the scum of the Earth as far as vidya games are concerned, TTK a has been getting good marks across the board and for good reason. Despite what you think about the $40 price tag (which is more than worth it in my opinion) TTK a is pushing Destiny in a really excellent direction and made a TON of changes that for the most part were absolutely needed. For the first time since beta, crucible actually seems somewhat balanced and the story content is really well done (not perfect but certainly good) Music wise TTK is well above an already awesome music score set by Vanilla and TDB fitting well with the atmosphereand theme of the story. Last is the raid, a big step up from CE giving a real mechanical look at raids and provides real challenge even for well orchestrated groups. By no means is TTK a perfect expansion but it is the expansion that Destiny needed to have and is more than worth having if you are a fan of what Destiny has brought to the table. 9/10

Well deserved. I have been very critical of Destiny for the past year but TK has definitely earned my praise.

A lot of people seem to be confusing the update with ttk. Those are two separate things. The Taken kind is the actual content(stories strikes the raid) , the update was the aesthetics, weapon balancing, the new mark system etc. Please don't confuse the two when critiquing this expansion.
