Wow. I have stayed up nights trying to beat the raid, and am getting closer. Now you put this ridiculous nightfall out with void burn and trickle? You want people to play your game? I refuse to do this nightfall for hours just to receive some legendary dismantle.
This is BS.
So some people beat it. Great. I don't want to waste 1.5 hours for a legendary pos that I can already buy. F that.
So it seems that 90% of the replies so far say get good, I beat it, it's not that it's overwhelmingly difficult once you pass the warsat. Ok. I'm glad you beat the NF for you 280 weapons and armor or 12 coins. Rewards aren't worth it IMO.
There are some really angry people on here. You know, instead of telling me to go to college and study and get good and don't make run on sentences and lick my ass whilst standing on one foot playing destiny....maybe try and be a pal with a good strategy so I can get my 12 coins I've been craving for a year playing this game.
Last edit. Ok I changed the title from F U, to a more un-hangry message of frustration. I'll beat the thing if I beat the raid first. Otherwise it's just not worth it to me.
OK OK LAST EDIT. So since like 500 people called me out right here...I'm going to take the time and do the NF based on challenge alone. Guess I'll thank you or not in a few hours after work.

Warsat is easier if you destroy the guns on the ships. I also have my void sword up to 293 so it was 1 hitting killing all but majors which took 2/3 swipes.

Nightfall is supposed to be difficult. Trials is supposed to be difficult. If you were able to solo the Nightfall and then receive an exotic every time, where would the fun/challenge be in that? There is always only a small chance you will get something amazing in any part of Destiny; if you don't like that or haven't realised that by now, you must really be ignorant. Why not play Call of Duty instead. This is why I rarely check these forums because it's always some whiny kids complaining. "Nerf this", "I can't beat the game because it sucks". There should be a separate forum so all you jackasses can moan together until you climax.

1 ReplyEdited by Lime: 9/22/2015 7:16:05 PMI am by no means a spectacular player, but I got a good team from LFG, wiped a few times at the start, and -- once past the warsat -- finished pretty easily. For the warsat, it is worth building your super on the shore a little bit since trickle is on. There are three drop ships that take big loops to come in; try to take out their guns if you can and it makes things easier. Fire from the drop ships was the most challenging part. Also, you don't have to be next to the warsat for the counter to tick. Take off and hide if you need to. Shotguns are your friend and, if you have one, anything void makes a big difference. The super shank at the end goes down pretty easily. Good luck and, remember: don't think of it as work; whole point is just to enjoy yourself. Edit: Agree with the rewards needing to be better. So far, the 36 playlist and the CoO give the best/most loot. No real reason to do NF or heroic other than quest missions. FWIW, I got the skullfort this morning.

3 RepliesIt's a Nightfall strike, not a 36 vanguard. The whole point is a challenge. Considering how early into the DLC we are the chance at 290 exotics makes it worth running.
