Its not even fair, because now hes too -blam!-ing hard to -blam!-ing kill with 20% less damage and the fact they added a stupid orb thing and that burn shit. When it first came out it was hella easy and all those lucky people who got items to get to 34 early and have a team to play with, im really annoyed with bungie. They made it too damn hard.

It's so easy. Your just garbage
-
I did it last night with two friends who have never attempted it so they could finish their triumphs. Easy a piss just be patient. Also helps to play the game rather the post on the forums about how hard it is
-
It isnt easy, but dude, it isn't exactly impossible either. My group did it first try with no experience and 1 wipe. Took about 45 minutes for skolas round with the wipe.
-
Its not even hard at all with 365 max gallys and wop
-
If anything it's easier now. I tried for 5 hours pre nerf and gave up. Just wipe out the adds before you try to touch skolas. Also it's nice to have as many Titans as possible
-
1 ReplyI believe Skolas is actually easier (more time consuming though) after the change. The only thing I think makes it harder for people is that they forget you don't have to burn him down as quickly as possible. You can not damage him for an hour and it won't matter. It's an incredibly slow fight if you make it one. All you have to do is do the fight in small bites if you will. Servitor - Skolas - rotate - ads (all of them and rotate in there) - servitor - Skolas - poison rotation - ads - Skolas - mines - ads - Skolas - mines - ads - Skolas As long as you have extreme patience and don't go light on rotating, you'll be fine.
-
Except it's easier now than it was before. The burn was in the original version. The 2 sets of mines were in the original. The only difference now is that he has LESS health than before and enemies no longer spawn CONTINUOUSLY and instead spawn based on his health. If you can't beat it now there's no way you beat it before

2 RepliesI plan on whooping his tail this week. Then I'm going in them pockets!! Gimme that loot bruh!!
-
It's supposed to be a challenge
-
You suck
-
Edited by Matt_2259: 9/7/2015 2:33:18 AMIt kinda sound like your are saying you don't like challenging games that require team work and communication. 35 Poe is supposed to be hard it's end game content for this DLC. Are we really running out of things to complain about
-
2 RepliesEdited by AlTrio: 9/7/2015 1:01:59 AMRight now, you only need a good team to do it. Communication is key, get that and you're golden. If it's any consolation, you could always skip getting triumphs and just kill him when he's that much easier after the level cap is raised.
-
Communication is key. You have be basically tied next to each other the whole time.
-
Dude as long as you have a team who can communicate and they know what they're doing it'll be a piece of cake
-
Just did it with two ransoms. Takes communication and moving the Essence around at the right time
-
It isn't that hard. If youd like and are on xbone I'll run him with you tomorrow. If not, jus be patient. Kill adds, hurt him yada yada. Communicate.
-
It's easy. Burn him, kill adds, repeat.
-
It took me probably my 4th attempt, 1st sober No wipes, good communication, made sure everyone was ready before spawning adds
-
Have gotten to skolas more than 50 times. 0 completions.
-
No it's not that it's too damn hard. You all just suck LOL.
-
It's pretty easy, you just need to communicate with your team.
-
Beaten it several times quite easy now. Did it will lightswitch too. Just get a good squad have one call the orders and move as one on that persons calls.
-
Edited by electriclizard: 9/7/2015 12:56:32 AMIts supposed to be hard. Just get a good team. It took me a few tries but when i got that perfect team we blew through the first rounds and defeated skolas. Just keep trying
-
I've on completed it like twice, but attempted about 15...it's all about finding a group with decent weapons that communicate well
-
Find the right people. Get lucky. With my friends we completed it on my first ever attempt.. No wipes at all. Just takes teamwork and communication.
-
My squad beat it first try. The trick is to set a system and take care of adds and objectives first.
