I agree, but I'm simply commenting on the OP's title/post. I know plenty of shotgun dominant users that are better at pvp than 99% of the snipe users in this game.

I run sniper short to mid range. It's so much fun to quick scope blink shotgunners. The salt gets real.

Or you could be challenging yourself by putting yourself in a compromised situation and getting better skilled as a result which pays off when you play in a competitive situation. If someone has used a sniper solely and has never used a shotty, they will get pooped on when playing against good players. Believe that.
