Apparently using Thorn makes you a bad player...
Yes, many people are guilty of using the weapon. But does this really make them an un-skillful player? Many people think so, what are your opinions?

Dude it's a crutch Good players use it because they suck Bad players use it because they suck I guarantee 95% of your thorn deaths And this goes for everyone else Is because of the burn and not the actual gun Yea if they couldn't finish you off themselves they suck. The burn had to do it. It's a scrub gun no matter how you look at it

Messenger cannot make bad players decent. Messenger can make good players excellent. It's just too much of a forgiving weapon, in my opinion. Crazy fire rate, damage, and it'll keep an enemy at low health for a while because of the poison. Stability isn't an issue, neither is range. Also, you can use Send It to make it even easier to get headshots. Can't wait for the patch on the 8th!!

Not at all. It's a weapon that you earn by completing an exotic bounty that's good. There's other guns on par with It and I know people that can easily outgun a throw user with a mida. There's people that use it and they can barely make a 1.0 k/d. You still need skill while using it in map awareness, playing the objective, knowing how to evade several enemies, and several other things. For example, my friend uses the same exact Loadout as me in trials but he has a 1.1 k/d in trials while I have a 1.9 with the same class (hunter) and weapons.

If you're good then why use it as a good player will destroy ppl with all weapons. If you're bad then i understand why you use it. This is my logic, others will differ but thats why they are called opinions.

A good player will play the meta. America is not a "scrub" because we have/use the best weapons in wars... we just win.

Yes because they abuse the weapon. They double tap and walk away to let the burn kill you. It's stupid. It shoots way to fast... when sept 8th comes people will be confused why they can't two shot someone or use the final round glitch.

Personally I don't think it is cheep compared to how many times i lose to a TLW or a shotgun. And I still use Thorn and ignore peoples opinion on what I should use

If you good at pvp then you'll be able to use any weapon and play decent. It's either use the thorn or die by the thorn. The ones that don't use it, are ones that don't have it or are terrible while using it. It's only cheap if you sit back and peck at people. In my opinion TLW Is cheaper.

Edited by WTFisTrue: 9/1/2015 7:51:21 PMSuros, TLW, Thorn. Each of these weapons were/are at the top for their meta. The reason is because of the low ttk and how easy they are to use. It was so easy to get consistent headshots with Suros back in the day. Also, they're just fun to use.
