ATTN: Lag Switchers
Now taking Screenshots of all confirmed Lag Switchers and posting their names on reddit. Furthermore, you will be reported. You've made Iron Banner the sh1tfest it is today. The least we can do as a community is permanently ban your account for life. Keep it up.
To everyone who wants to report Lag Switchers, go to their profile on the Roster screen then click on Report Player and flag them as Bad Connection and Cheating.
Bungie's inaction and inability to apprehend and issue lifetime bans to these lowlives is what fuels the fire. We don't care if you have 1000+ logged into the game, if you use a cheat, you deserve to lose everything you worked so hard to obtain.
Addendum: Now accepting petitions to issue [b]HEAVY SACK BEATINGS[/b] to all would be cheaters.

Keep bad connections out the crucible hands down if you are red barring even if your not lag switching u shouldn't be allowed in.

I'm patient and I still get very frustrated by laggers. How hard would it be for the game to run intermittent connection checks and drop those players or not let them start the activity to begin with? I report all bad connects

Went up to kill someone and the screen froze to a crawl...sound got distorted, almost like a slowed crackle, then instantly came back and I was lying there dead. Had the beat on the guy, lined up and everything...as a seasoned gamer I know the difference between lag and lag switching and it was an actual lag switch. Needless to say, I reported him 7 times, and when I went back to the game, I saw two others in their menus standing in spawn likely doing the same thing and reporting this cheating -blam!-rag. I danced a few times and waved, and then left. I don't have time for little cheating pussies. If Bungie actually cracked down on cheating asswipes, instead of a little slap on the wrist temp ban for a few days, maybe they'd clean their broken PVP up a little bit

3 RepliesThe guys that do it in regular crucible are the sorriest bunch, when you're dominating a rumble match all of a sudden, there are a couple of guys that are just that much harder to hit, and moving a bit faster than everyone else, and taking a little less damage.

The thing with lag switching is you can't prove it, you can suspect it for sure but unless someone openly admits it then you have no proof, yeah course it happens but the majority of what people perceive as lag switching is shitty Internet, nothing more and nothing less..

5 RepliesThe biggest culprit of the lag issue is Bungie's inability to do shit about it. You have honest players that are so sick and tired of this shit that they either quit the game, like myself, or join the ranks of the lag switchers. What is pissing me off the most about the current Iron Banner is usually the laggers keep to Iron Banner therefore normal Crucible plays super smooth. Sadly, 4 of every 5 games I've played have been plagued with lag switchers.

4 RepliesI fear this post will make people trigger happy with the report button, which will just cause issues for people with bad internet connection and allow the actual cheats to continue with their ways. My internet connection is usally sh@£ and I just try my best to keep a positive KD. The other day whilst playing trials my bar was red and after the game I got a message from a guy on the other team saying that they reported me for my connection. I was very annoyed by this as it is very clear that I wasn't using a lag switch from my KD [spoiler]0.5 roughly as I sucked that match but my team still Won :p[/spoiler]

2 RepliesI believe the lag, be it from lag switchers or just crappy connection, is the biggest issue facing destiny. I live in Manhattan with a 60MB connection and the lag is horrendous. I get the same experience at my GF's house in CT (also 60mb) and people I play with all over the country and all over the world are experiencing the same thing, so I know it's not an isolated issue. As much as we talk trash about CoD, one thing I can say is that when CoD games started to lag the game would pause for a moment and switch to a better host. In destiny the host never changes so what happens is people start messing with their connection after the game begins so there is nothing you can do.

5 RepliesI just report EVERYBODY that I play with when I'm in PVP. As soon as the match starts I go to the menu and report the other 11 players. Then play until the score gets out of hand and leave, just to start a new match and report 11 new people. See, I've made my own reporting game out of PVP cause well Destiny PVP is simply not fun.

36 RepliesYou do realize that all someone has to do is look at the stats. If they don't see a huge change from game to game in k/d ratio, it's just a bad connection. I still have no idea what lag switching is. But I do know, that every iron banner tourney, the servers are working in higher volumes of people. Not every red bar is a cheater. Just someone getting connected poorly to a server. Or outside of the region. Tissue?

I feel like the actual number of "lag switchers" is quite small. Everyone just gets into a laggy game and cries foul. Laggy games is just a part of the Destiny experience, I'm pretty sure I've had games when it's worked to my benefit, and games where it's hurt me. But I can only think of one time where I saw somebody that I was absolutely sure was cheating. Only met them twice during the game, but they were sliding around, character still loading, unkillable, and went like 24-0. And even then, it could have been a weird glitch that they didn't even mean to do.

42 RepliesI get messages all the time when I play ToO saying that I'm lag switching. I'm not, my Internet is very poor I try to play a game I love but I can't. I have a feeling I'm going to get banned one day just because I'm struggling to play the game.

This is a serious issue,come across it all the time and like most sick of it. If I can empty my primary and shotgun into a player and the still live then run behind me and boom 1 shot kill then no thanks. If you can't win by skill don't play. Getting a lot of mass radar reading with nobody there then,boom surrounded by 4 guys who instantly cross a map. Sort it out bungie

3 RepliesI messaged someone calling them a laggy bitch. The said what, what did I do. Essentially they owned up to lag switching. I reported them and have screen shots of them admitting and apologising. Bungee need to sort this shit out asap. I have nothing left to do in pve and have started playing pvp but at this rate I'll just leave the game until TTK. If they don't sort these issues out full stop then I'll stop playing altogether. Yes I've paid them money but a lot of people feel the same way I do. You might get new guardians in year 2 but it's only a matter of time before they realise how frustrating these issues are and leave.
