Why play in year 2? Here's why NOT!
Its simple.
What all us year 1 players are going through transitioning into year 2 (losing valued weapons and gear that we grinded endlessly for) is going to happen again EACH YEAR.
Solution?
-Come back in 9 years
-Buy Destiny bundle that includes ALL dlc for only $60!

Come back after every 2 years and everyone will be like. Oh my god. He's wearing that relic raid gear and those weapons are so sweet. No one has those anymore. Play for a year. Repeat. Maybe by year 8 we'll get out of beta.

If I lose my overrated weapons for some new ones that look cool with new perks, I'm all for it, and I REALLY want to play rift and mayhem and see what 2.0 will do to weapons, and the endgame content is looking pretty good, but everyone keeps crying about mmo-esque things like the progression that's going on when it will mean LITERALLY nothing when the new thorn of the crucible comes or you get that beautiful Omolon sniper, and how is that THE ONLY THING on these forums? I would only ever quit destiny because of the community I get lumped with, not because my handcannon with firefly won't work out in some of TTK, or my precious little thorn I cling to dear life with won't dominate anymore, or Xür selling a rocket where cluster bombs actually damage an enemy

The weapons to come will be great, and we will all love them just like we love our current weapons. The field tested weapons are what I'm after. I'm super pumped for that.
