[NEW] Confirmed Hive Lore!
Game informer, have shed some light on some new Hive lore they obtained after playing the Dark Blade strike.
According to them Alak-Hul aka the Dark Blade is a high ranking Hive Knight who first made an appearance in a Hive Civil War, so far all we know is that a Hive Goddess similar to Oryx named Veroc used Alak-Hul to lead an army invasion against Oryx, yet Veroc's army along with Alak-Hul were soon defeated leading to his imprisonment, the reasoning for having to kill him is to prevent his rise to power to become as powerful as Oryx.
However Veroc's whereabouts are unknown so it's very likely known where the Hive's story will lead off.

Also read that. Nice to see some lore regarding Hive "culture". Really, when they were first shown I thought of them as nothing more than a devouring animalistic force. After tdb more light was shed on them but they're still fairly mysterious in terms of their society and anatomy. I need more lol

Unless all hive gods are children of Oryx, which i highly doubt.
